posted: Aug 3rd, 2011 Round 3 in 8way is not complete yet, but the host managed to get several teams in the air before it was time for the next weather hold. Three teams also completed their third round in the female 4way category. It has continued this way for the whole day so far, as the host is trying to use every opportunity to get some more scores on the board. In the meantime, the next video clip has been uploaded, and it is a colorful one, literally. News Article Did you know that the Fun Flag is flying - somewhere?
posted: Aug 3rd, 2011 It is very unusual that the NSL News audience is off the pace at the polls. The majority of the 8way fans expects the French Aerodyne Maubeuge lineup to win the World Cup 2011. Even French team captain Clement Martin St. Leon, triple world champion of 2006, 2008 and 2010, was not so sure about that, as the NSL News explained yesterday. The Golden Knights are up by two points after Round 2, and the scores for Round 3 will be posted very soon. News Article Did you know that Joey Jones fixed the weather in Germany?
posted: Aug 1st, 2011 The NSL Talk with Joey Jones is next. He was studying the scoreboards at the World Cup 2011 when the NSL News found him. He seemed to like the meet setup, logistics and facilities that the German organizers have provided. This place is ready for a great meet. He only did not like the German weather so far and went the other direction in trying to beat the conditions. Most people here try to keep it quiet about the World Meet 2006 in Germany. posted: Jul 26th, 2011 The NSL News mentioned in earlier stories how the United Kingdom is on the move to become one of the powerhouses of Formation Skydiving competition in the world. The UK delegation for the World Cup 2011 is one of the biggest and consists of four 4way teams (Sonicnutz, Escondido, Unagi and Bodyflight Aerodyne) and one 8way team (Brit Chicks). posted: Jul 18th, 2011 NSL News correspondent in Great Britain and Kaizen member Jo Hawley reports on last weekend’s third meet of the United Kingdom Skydiving League (UKSL) and looks ahead to the World Cup 2011 and the UK Nationals 2011. With only four weeks to go till the UK Nationals 2011, the Hibaldstow UKSL meet saw a record 32 teams take part in a wet and windy competition. Planes circled looking for holes in the clouds while competitors tried to hold their nerve. News Article Did you know that the NSL-TV camera followed the French talent in the chamber?
posted: Apr 3rd, 2011 The NSL-TV camera entered the flying chamber ealier than usual for Round 9. It has been interesting to follow the two French national B-Teams who have been going neck to neck through the first eight rounds. They were separated by one single point after Round 8. 8-way world champion and coach Erwan Pouliquen is coaching the French B-Teams. Aerodyne Deep Blue Defender Laurence Hervé competed with one of the B-Teams from Dunkerque at the World Challenge 2010. Her team finished with an 18.7 average last year. Then she was selected for the new French female lineup and stands with a 24.8 average... (more)
