Did you know that Germany lost an 8-way battle and won the Fun Flag? posted: Oct 22nd, 2016 The aftermath of the FAI Mondial 2016 did not include an update of the Fun Flag situation after members of the South African 4-way Open Class team Savolo had their own adventure, as the Sun Path Products NSL News reported on September 16th.
The next spot of the Fun Flag was not easy to see.
It may have even required the eagle's eye perspective from a parachute to find it, while the location was still very much related to the competition.
Members of the German delegation had taken possession of the flag and placed it on one wing of Skydive Chicago's DC3, which is exclusively memorabilia... (more)
Did you know that the Fun Flag adventure could not distract Savolo too much? posted: Sep 16th, 2016 The happy ending of a world meet disregards the scores and placings and includes the Fun Flag.
The Sun Path Products NSL News was not able to give the Fun Flag much attention during the very busy four days of the competition. However, this does not mean that there were no Fun Flag activities. In fact, the Fun Flag changed ownership several times at Skydive Chicago.

Did you know that a new exciting 8-way battle between Microclim8 and Airbus seems to be coming up? posted: Sep 2nd, 2016 The Sun Path Products NSL News had introduced the 8-way Open Class field for the Mondial 2016 with the story on August 25th. A total of eight teams were officially registered at that time.
However, the currently running German Nationals 2016 include an 8-way competition, as well, where the Airbus 8-way lineup is far ahead in 1st place after seven rounds.
Airbus was not on the virgin leaderboard that introduced the 8-way teams, even though the team will also travel to Skydive Chicago very soon.

Did you know that the Fun Flag seems to be in Austria after the FAI World Cup 2015? posted: Sep 16th, 2015 The last Fun Flag update from the FAI World Cup 2015 brought the Sun Path Products NSL News into new territory of the event coverage.
The first update on September 7th mentioned that the French Freefly team Solaris (Loic Perrouin, Pierre Rabuel) had the Fun Flag at the beginning of the event.
Possession changed a few times, and the Fun Flag went once again through a few interesting adventures after its latest travel to the Netherlands.

Did you know that Joey Jones and Chris Talbert wrapped it up in the last Coaches Corner from Teuge? posted: Sep 12th, 2015 Many events in Formation Skydiving competition with Sun Path Products NSL News live coverage are ending without a last word from the "powered by Sun Path roving reporter Joey Jones". Gary Smith, Chris Talbert and Joey Jones were the main commentators of the daily events at the FAI World Cup 2015.

Did you know that the Fun Flag seems to be in German hands? posted: Sep 10th, 2015 Mike Pennock's plan worked out perfectly for the third day of the FAI World Cup 2015, and the Formation Skydiving competition teams are exactly at the point where they were expected to be at the end of the day. That's according to the number of competition jumps, not necessarily according to the expected rankings and scoring levels...
