posted: Mar 14th, 2024 Round 1 of the Shamrock Showdown 2024 is only one day away, and Thursday was a busy training and warm-up day at Skydive DeLand. The competition draw in the evening was the last step before the start of the competition on Friday morning. Arizona Airspeed and France Aethers will be in the first load of the competition together, and a new colorful Teiwaz lineup joins the world's currently two best teams in the same Twin Otter. posted: Dec 13th, 2023 The Norwegian 4-way delegation was heavily involved with Fun Flag activities at the 23rd FAI World Cup of Formation Skydiving on their home turf at Skydive Voss. Actually, it was the cooperation between two of the three Norwegian 4-way teams that brought the success of possession and eternal physical presence on the Fun Flag. 4-way Women team Thyra and 4-way Open Class team Grumsen eventually presented the Fun Flag proudly in public, after the Grumsen effort that the NSL News covered on August 25th. posted: Sep 17th, 2023 The series of aftermath events behind the 23rd FAI World Cup of Formation Skydiving also included the British Outdoor Nationals 2023, which were held on the weekend when the German Outdoor Nationals 2023 were concluded at the Fallschirmsportzentrum Saar.. Team Apex won the 4-way AAA Class title this month, after the British 4-way champion team of 2022, Chimera, had decided to discontinue after the 5th place at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2022, as the NSL News reported on January 24th. posted: Aug 25th, 2023 The weather hold has continued for the whole Friday, however, all teams are still on stand-by in the afternoon. It's one of the most challenging situations in Formation Skydiving competition that cannot be trained well before attending a major event. It will be interesting to see how the teams will master the next round under these conditions. The days are long in Scandinavia, and there are still several hours of daylight available. posted: Aug 23rd, 2023 Three more 8-way rounds were completed at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023, which puts the event ahead of the 4-way competition. The host decided to give the 8-way teams the next break and called the 4-way teams to Skydive Voss for the early morning shift on Thursday. Meet director Carl-Erik Tuv, former and current Norgies/Norgyx member, finally had some time available for NSL Live Talk, as the operation is running smoothly and his assistants are working efficiently with him. posted: Aug 22nd, 2023 All 4-way teams have completed three rounds on the first competition day of the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 in Voss, Norway. Both French 4-way teams must have liked the sequence of Round 3, where the 4-way Open Class team tied Arizona Airspeed's 26-pointer and the new Nephtys lineup the 20-pointer by XPG4, after a 1-point deduction for the U.S. team. NMP PCH HayaBusa is back on track after two weak opening rounds with a total of six point deductions for infringements.
