News Article Did you know that Lee Staebler provided indoor feedback from a tall perspective?
posted: Mar 18th, 2019 The NSL News recently posted the February column of Blue Skies Mag's Turning Points. "Size Matters" was related to flying chambers for indoor training and competition, and to the meet conditions for participating teams and competitors. The article pointed out that body sizes have a direct relationship to the indoor meet conditions, which are not the same for everybody in smaller flying chambers. The article related to the German national team in 4-way Open, Airbus, who probably combine for an average body height of at least 6 feet or 182 centimeters. However, the NSL News actually received... (more)
News Article Did you know that Lite XP/Spaceland Lite celebrate their 10-year team anniversary in 2019?
posted: Mar 6th, 2019 Lite XP, formerly known as Spaceland Lite, or Spaceland SPX Lite, is one of the longest standing 4-way teams in the United States. In fact, the 2019 season brings the 10-year anniversary for Lite, who appeared for the first time on the NSL leaderboard in May 2009. The lineup has changed over the years, and Katrina Autry Shows is the only original member in the current lineup. News Article Did you know that Ranch 2nd Generation moves closer to the U.S. bronze medal position?
posted: Mar 4th, 2019 The Paraclete XP Indoor Championship also featured once again the next battle for the bronze medals between the Golden Knights Gold lineup and Ranch 2nd Generation. It was not really a competitive duel at the two previous events in 2017 and 2018, where the Golden Knights won easily over the U.S. 4-way shooting star. It was much more challenging than in 2018 for the same Gold lineup little over a week ago at the same event. R2G is a well trained and experienced 4-way team by now, while the Golden Knights don't have much time for 4-way training at all. In fact, the members of the current 4-way... (more)
News Article Did you know that Michelle Karamon and Jeana Billings will have double duties at the FAI Indoor World Meet?
posted: Feb 28th, 2019 The Paraclete XP Indoor Championship was the U.S. qualification event for the FAI Indoor World Meet 2019 and included a 4-way Women competition for the same purpose. The NSL News had mentioned the situation in 4-way Women with the update on February 23rd. The two U.S. teams who are aiming at the top spot in 4-way Women at the FAI World Meet 2020 in Tanya, Russia, Phoenix XP and Perris Force, could not keep up with the newly formed XPG4 lineup on the first day of the competition. This did not change in the last three rounds, where XPG4 extended the lead in 4-way Women significantly and finished... (more)
News Article Did you know that Arizona Airspeed need ten emergency performances in April?
posted: Feb 26th, 2019 The aftermath of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2019 begins with the competition videos of Arizona Airspeed and SDC Rhythm XP. The scores on the leaderboard featured the thriller of the first seven rounds on Saturday just by the numbers, which was already exciting enough. However, watching the competition videos and knowing the scoring numbers at the same time is lifting the experience of the audience to a significantly higher level. Even the combination of the scores and the videos cannot substitute for the live experience of watching how the battling teams prepare for their breath-taking... (more)
News Article Did you know that all 4-way events at Paraclete XP feature exciting battles?
posted: Feb 23rd, 2019 The Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2019 is in full swing, and all events offer exciting competition and interesting situations. SDC Rhythm XP has once again picked up the pace, and the 30-average level will most likely be history as a goal and stepping stone. The distance to Arizona Airspeed is down to nothing after the 16-point deficit at the end of the Wind Games 2019. In fact, Rhythm had the lead throughout the first three rounds before Airspeed created the first 1-point advantage in Round 4. Airspeed's team captain Niklas Hemlin was impressed with the Rhythm performance, and his team... (more)
