News Article Did you know that Phoenix XP will have to copy the Golden Knights' way to win medals this year?
posted: Sep 26th, 2018 The NSL News coverage of the USPA Nationals 2018 was not completed yet when the attention shifted to the ESL Championship 2018. The aftermath now continues with another team that will compete for the U.S. delegation at the upcoming FAI World Meet 2018. Phoenix XP is the U.S. national team in 4-way Women. The team project was launched at the beginning of the 2017 season with the goal to qualify as the national team and compete in Australia. This goal was accomplished at the USPA Nationals 2017, where Phoenix XP finished as the best 4-way Women team in the United States. There was another goal,... (more)
News Article Did you know that Savage XP finished with a new Advanced Class record average and with the best Open Class ranking?
posted: Sep 19th, 2018 The Advanced Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2018 had the most exciting part behind the winner, Savage XP, as the NSL News reported yesterday. Savage XP won the USPA gold medals in this category with a 26-point winning margin and allowed no other Advanced Class team to score higher in any of the ten rounds. Only Seattle Swift (1) and Elsinore Elevate (3) managed to keep up with the winner and tie the Savage XP scores in four rounds. The winning average of 17.4 is the highest one that has been posted in the history of USPA's Advanced Class competition. SDC Rhythm XP (2008) and SDMW... (more)

posted: Sep 16th, 2018 The NSL News mentioned in a preview of the USPA Nationals 2018 on 9 September that "Arizona Airspeed lineups could win gold and bronze medals this year", which became a possibility when the Golden Knights returned to their headquarters in North Carolina due to the Hurricane Florence threat. It turned out to be a correct evaluation of the situation in 4-way Open, as Arizona Airspeed won the gold medals, and Airspeed Odyssey finished 3rd at Chicagoland Skydiving Center. The current Arizona Airspeed lineup (Niklas Hemlin, Thiago Gomes, Mikhail Markine, Ari Perelman, David French on camera) won... (more)
News Article Did you know that only the 4-way VFS team won medals for the Golden Knights this year?
posted: Sep 12th, 2018 The 4-way Open and Advanced Class events of the USPA Nationals 2018 were also easily completed on Tuesday, and the competition did not offer any surprises. There was no doubt that Arizona Airspeed would defend their U.S. title successfully. SDC Rhythm XP had former member Rob Radez for injured Doug Barron in the lineup, as the NSL News had reported on 26 May 2018. The runner-up was still strong enough to leave all other Open Class teams far behind. Defiance was challenging Airspeed Odyssey once again and came slightly closer than a year ago. The second Odyssey reunion after the 2017 comeback... (more)

posted: Sep 9th, 2018 The weather situation at the USPA Nationals 2018 has become much better, and the teams are catching up after only two completed rounds on Saturday. In fact, blues skies, reliable winds and sufficient aircraft seem to guarantee a successful and timely conclusion of the AA/Intermediate Class competition on Sunday evening. The Intermediate Class leaderboard is showing the expected exciting race for USPA medals. There was only a 1-point difference between the first four teams after Round 4, with changes of the positions round by round. It would be no surprise if the battle continued the same way... (more)
News Article Did you know that Paraclete XP is back in full Indoor Cloud League strength?
posted: Sep 2nd, 2018 The slower summer months for Paraclete XP's Indoor Cloud League team seem to be history, and the August scores indicate that the top of the leaderboard is still the goal for the 2018 season. In fact, Paraclete XP is probably the new leader after all August scores will be posted. The Czech team at the Hurricane Factory is facing a similar summer problem and finished the month of August with only 76 points. The difference of 57 points would be enough for Paraclete XP to take back the lead. Paraclete XP was ahead of the Hurricane Factory until March before the Czech teams picked up the pace... (more)
