News Article Did you know that Denmark has plans for a new pursuit of medals at the World Meet?
posted: Jan 24th, 2004 The NSL News interviewed Sebastian XL member Pete Allum in November last year. The full-time coach and world class competitor had just moved to DeLand and was hired as the new national coach of the Danish 4-way team. Allum mentioned in the interview that "the team will make 800 – 1000 jumps each year, up to 2006." He added that the team has great plans: "The objective is to stand on the podium in 2006." The NSL News followed up on the interview with the Danish project manager, Flemming Nøddegaard and asked for more information. News Article Did you know that Norway had a new national team with national coach Lise Aune?
posted: Jan 8th, 2004 The previously recorded and unpublished interviews from the NSL News archives concluded for the 2003 season with Jerome David on 29 December 2003. DeLand Norgies member Lise Nansen-Aune, triple bronze medalist of 1999, 2001 and 2003, was the first Formation Skydiving celebrity discussing topics at the beginning of the new year. She had spent several years visiting Skydive DeLand in Florida mostly for training camps in the winter, and she eventually moved to DeLand. News Article Did you know that Jerome David recommended a delayed start of the working time?
posted: Dec 29th, 2003 The NSL News posted an interview with former French national coach Jerome David before his delegation competed on home turf in Gap in 2003. This interview was recorded on 27 March 2003 and posted from the NSL News archives on July 4th. France won a 4-way Open Class gold medal and a bronze medal in 8-way half a year later, and the NSL News had a new opportunity to speak with Jerome David in December the same year. News Article Did you know that the Italian national team Sinapsi PD continued after the FAI World Meet 2003?
posted: Dec 4th, 2003 The NSL News published an interview with Sinapsi PD from the archives on July 1st. In the preparations for the FAI World Meet 2003 the Italian national team of 2000 - 2010 was in DeLand for an early training camp. News Article Did you know that Pete Allum had to make a difficult decision?
posted: Nov 10th, 2003 Pete Allum is one of the most experienced 4-way and 8-way competitors in the history of Formation Skydiving competition. He has competed for the United Kingdom at each FAI World Championship and several other international competitions since 1985. His current 4-way team, Sebastian XL, placed fourth at the world meets in 1999, 2001 and 2003. Pete Allum's NSL Profile was posted as one of the earliest in 2000. News Article Did you know that a competition draw of the A Class is block-heavy for a good reason?
posted: Nov 6th, 2003 The NSL News reported on March 13th that USPA introduces the A Class category at the national championships as a test event this year. The update from Arizona after the March meet of the Arizona Skydiving League explained more of the A Class history in the United States. The NSL 4-way category was adopted early by other countries, and the A Class competition was just recently the most popular event of the Virtual Australian Outdoor Nationals 2021, behind the Rookie Class, which has been one of the NSL competition categories since 2002, as well.
