posted: Jun 15th, 2022 One of the interesting topics that were part of yesterday's NSL Live Talk with Niklas Hemlin related naturally to his own position as a very popular coach. Arizona Airspeed lineups of the past most often invented their own strategies and techniques and did not hire coaches to work with. The senior member became the leader and gave directions, including assigning other members as coaches for a camp or passing the rock. posted: Jun 15th, 2022 The recent updates from Belgium, first by NMP PCH HayaBusa member David Grauwels alone on June 4th, followed by NSL Live Talk with his whole team on June 9th, enjoyed once again great interest and attention by the NSL News audience. Of course, this is not so surprising, as the conversations with the top competitors in the world usually provide a lot of highly valuable athletic information for all teams and competitors, as well. Did you know that Netunos could challenge INIT-Y in Brazil in the near future?
posted: Jun 14th, 2022 Thirteen Brazilian 4-way teams were back for their next indoor competition at Copa iFLY last weekend, after the March event with a total of 15 teams that the NSL News reported on May 16th and a follow-up story on June 6th. The second update covered the new Brazilian 4-way team S.A.G.A. whose lineup includes Anderson Vargas, twin-brother of INIT-Y member Alisson Vargas. INIT-Y are the reigning 4-way indoor and outdoor champions in Brazil, and Alisson Vargas has been coaching his brother's team and guiding them into 4-way training and competition. posted: Jun 12th, 2022 This year's situation in the FAI/ISC 4-way Women category is probably the most unknown territory in the horizontal Formation Skydiving competition world. The world's arguably strongest teams in this event have not met each other directly at international meets, which have offered insights and competition practice and experiences in the past. Worldwide health and political crises have made it more difficult to run and attend events where teams have the opportunities to enjoy the live atmosphere and direct competition with potential opponents. Did you know that Manu Sarrazin is guiding a new French 8-way team to Eloy 2022?
posted: Jun 10th, 2022 It was in May 2018 when the NSL News reported that France would miss a world meet in 8-way for the first time. It became reality when the French delegation arrived in Australia 2018 without a team in one of the most traditional events. In fact, French 8-way teams did not only attend each world meet since 1985 and before 2018. They won FAI medals at each event, including three sets of gold in 2006, 2008 and 2010. posted: Jun 9th, 2022 The NMP PCH HayaBusa update on June 4th included NSL Live Talk with original HayaBusa member David Grauwels, who explained in more detail his team's situation during the transition from the 2019 to the 2020 lineup, and now to the current lineup with newest member Neal Willems. David Grauwels said that his team was in the middle of a training camp at the Spa Skydiving Center. He also explained that new inside center Neal Willems has actually been using his weekends and off-days from the military boot camp to train with the team.
