Did you know that Niklas Hemlin and Andy Grauwels are back as opponents in coaching? posted: Jun 15th, 2022 One of the interesting topics that were part of yesterday's NSL Live Talk with Niklas Hemlin related naturally to his own position as a very popular coach. Arizona Airspeed lineups of the past most often invented their own strategies and techniques and did not hire coaches to work with. The senior member became the leader and gave directions, including assigning other members as coaches for a camp or passing the rock.
The current lineup with senior members Niklas Hemlin and Mikhail Markine decided to take a different direction and hire Joey Jones for the technical part of the team training,... (more)

Of course, this is not so surprising, as the conversations with the top competitors in the world usually provide a lot of highly valuable athletic information for all teams and competitors, as well.

The world's arguably strongest teams in this event have not met each other directly at international meets, which have offered insights and competition practice and experiences in the past.
Worldwide health and political crises have made it more difficult to run and attend events where teams have the opportunities to enjoy the live atmosphere and direct competition with potential opponents. It was at the FAI Indoor World Meet 2019 where the... (more)

The French 8-way team, with national coach Mathieu Bernier himself in... (more)
