Did you know that the South African Outdoor Nationals featured two 1-point battles for medals? posted: May 4th, 2022 InTime's Claire King and Dirk Venter, who were first competing in 8-way at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2022, then judging live at the Shamrock Showdown 2022 at Skydive City in Florida, followed by the judging job at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 in Belgium, were finally back home when it was time for the South African Outdoor Nationals.
It was once again the judging room where they spent their time at Skydive Pretoria, host of the national championships. Their own 4-way team, Jazz Republic, has attended only indoor meets since 2015.

Did you know that Belgian and Austrian teams moved from online to live competition in Charleroi? posted: May 3rd, 2022 The NSL News reported on April 5th that Belgium and Austria had synchronized the competition draw for their respective national indoor championships.
It could be expected, of course, that the two Belgian world class teams, NMP PCH HayaBusa and ISR FireFlash, take the top spot in Belgium and on the combined leaderboard, while ISR FireFlash were even close enough to put some pressure on the still reigning indoor and outdoor world champions.

Did you know that the Czech 4-way Junior world cup champions posted the ICL AAA Class scores for April? posted: May 2nd, 2022 The NSL News reported a very special occasion on 13 September 2021. The complete set of the Czech Indoor Cloud League scores for the month of September were generated by 4-way juniors at the Hurricane Factory.
The Czech Indoor Cloud League team began its regular participation before Jan Klapka launched the 4-way junior program, and the scores and videos of the early years were generated by senior 4-way teams and competitors only.

Did you know that five 4-way Open Class overseas teams set new participation record in Charleroi? posted: May 1st, 2022 A total of five teams from across the Atlantic Ocean competed at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022, all of them in the 4-way Open Class. The NSL News featured the three U.S. teams of the most successful delegation in this category earlier, with Arizona Airspeed as the winner.
The other two teams traveled to Belgium coming from Brazil (INIT-Y, So Pressao), and the country's indoor and outdoor champions of INIT-Y were in the middle of the battle for the precious Top 10 spots, as the NSL News reported on April 8th.

Did you know that 96 male and 60 female 4-way competitors filled the horizontal Formation Skydiving leaderboards? posted: Apr 29th, 2022 The NSL News aftermath of the big international events has always included unofficial leaderboards, which offer an overview of all teams that use the same competition draw. It is usually a combination of the teams in 4-way Open and 4-way Women.
The combined leaderboard of the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 was featured with the NSL News update on April 17th, when HF Cubs and Nephtys were credited for their positions on the combined AAA Class leaderboard, the Czech team in 4th place, the French team in 6th place.

Did you know that chances have grown for a complete U.S. World Meet Sweep in Formation Skydiving? posted: Apr 28th, 2022 The NSL News covered the potential of a complete Formation Skydiving competition sweep by the U.S. delegation at the FAI Outdoor World Meet 2022 with the update on January 4th. It was a preview before any indoor or outdoor events were completed this year.
It has not been a new topic since France accomplished it in Menzelinsk 2010. The outdoor world meet in Russia was the first FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving with the four current Formation Skydiving categories, after 4-way VFS was added to the FAI/ISC competition format.
