News Article Did you know that 14 teams are lined up for the start of the Czech indoor winter season?
posted: Nov 3rd, 2021 The NSL News pointed out on September 13th that all Czech Indoor Cloud League scores and videos for August were generated only by 4-way juniors. It was not much different for the Hurricane Factory's Indoor Cloud League scores in September. A quick look at the team names for September may give the impression that the complete leaderboard was once again filled with the names of only Czech 4-way juniors. However, the HF Cubs as a team are not eligible any longer for the official 4-way Junior category, even though they are still the reigning world champions of the FAI Indoor World Meet 2019. The... News Article Did you know that the successful AZXP FS Sweep causes a challenging world meet situation?
posted: Nov 1st, 2021 NSL Live Talk with the new U.S. 4-way champions, Arizona Airspeed, had to wait until all Formation Skydiving events were completed. All team members were busy with the other three events (8-way - 10-way - 16-way), as the NSL News mentioned in earlier updates. The coverage of the 10-way competition pointed out that the newest and latest Airspeed sweep of all Formation Skydiving events could still be stopped by the Golden Knights. The update on October 30th featured the details of the dramatic 10-way finish. Eventually, Niklas Hemlin, Mikhail Markine and Chris Kuhlmann completed the sweep in... (more)
News Article Did you know that Amnesya won the Italian Indoor Nationals four weeks after taking the outdoor title?
posted: Oct 31st, 2021 Formation Skydiving competition continued in other parts of the world, while the USPA Nationals caught all of the NSL News attention. The aftermath of the U.S. event will continue, of course, including new NSL Live Talk with Arizona Airspeed. The Italian Indoor Nationals took place on the first weekend of the USPA Nationals, and these two events even had an indirect and very interesting connection. The national indoor and outdoor championships were separated by only four weeks this year. The Outdoor Nationals were completed at the end of September, and the Italian 4-way teams had four weeks... News Article Did you know that AirspeedXP10 and Golden Knights were separated by 21 hundredths of a second?
posted: Oct 30th, 2021 The 10-way Speed competition at the USPA Nationals 2021 turned out to be as exciting as can be as the last obstacle for the three Arizona Airspeed members (Niklas Hemlin, Mikhail Markine, Chris Kuhlmann) to complete their ultimate Formation Skydiving sweep. The Golden Knights made it extremely difficult for ASXP10 to win the very different 10-way speed competition. Airspeed's 10-way team was about a second ahead of the U.S. Army team after Round 5, and the Golden Knights had delivered their second best time (12.32) of the meet in the last round. AZXP10 had to follow up, and it became very... (more)
News Article Did you know that AZXPGK split up for the 10-way speed competition?
posted: Oct 29th, 2021 The 16-way competition at the USPA Nationals 2021 turned out to be the walk in the park for the AZXPGK combination of former and reigning world champions. There was actually an additional 4-way world champion of Dubai 2012 in the 16-way lineup. Josh Hall, who operates Skydive Elsinore and the Southern California Skydiving League, rotated through the 16-way slots of the AZXPGK lineup with 17 members. He won his 4-way world championship title together with Niklas Hemlin and Airspeed's 2012 team (Thomas Hughes, Mark Kirkby, Bill Schmitz on camera). The upcoming 10-way competition has to break... News Article Did you know that AZXPGK have no competition in 16-way at the USPA Nationals?
posted: Oct 28th, 2021 The 8-way competition of the USPA Nationals 2021 was completed early on Thursday without any delays, and the teams eventually placed in the expected order. The new 8-way world champions of Airspeed XP8 did not need the scoring and performance level of the FAI Tanay Mondial 2020, where they were challenged to the extreme by the French 8-way team. The 20.0 average after the ten rounds in Eloy was more than enough to defend the U.S. title successfully. The Golden Knights won one round and tied another one to finish 18 points behind ASXP8, and the Qatar Falcons could not follow up on the surprising... (more)
