posted Jan 28th, 2020 - The NSL News update on January 20th provided an overview of the indoor events at the Hurricane Factory in January, and the HF Cubs were once again in the spotlight.

The turn of the year was a little roller-coaster for the still reigning 4-way Junior world champions from the Czech Republic, who have now been competing in the AAA Class. The lineup was different at each of the team's last three meets. It was in November last year when Sabina Cioleková, Karolina Henkova, Viktorie Nováková and Adela Vesela competed together the previous time.

Fortunately, alternate and new HF Chicks member Tereza Zívalová was available when the HF Cubs needed help, and she competed with the team in December and January.

The related NSL News update mentioned that the Cubs attended two 10-round meets in January, first the World Tunnel League January competition, followed by the Czech Open Indoor Championship. They also added 60 points to the Indoor Cloud League account of the Hurricane Factory.

The videos of the impressive 60 ICL points for the AAA/AA sequences have been available for reviews, and it was the complete lineup performing at the ICL event in January.

However, the ten rounds at the Czech Open Indoor Championship are also showing the HF Cubs back in full action with their complete current lineup, and the competition video is now available.

The 26.5 average earlier this month is matching exactly the average of the team's best three meets in 2019, and it mirrors a very interesting situation.

The NSL World Team Rankings of 4-way indoor competition in 2019 has the two best 4-way Women teams, NFTO and Nephtys Weembi, tied in 14th place - with 26.5 averages after their best three meets.

By the pure numbers, the HF Cubs have already caught up with the world's top level in 4-way Women competition. At the latest, they will face NFTO and Nephtys Weembi as direct opponents on the same leaderboard at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2020 in April...
