Did You Know...

... that the Indoor Cloud League continues with slow recovery progress?

Paraclete XP ICL team in December 2019
posted Jan 9th, 2025 - The Indoor Cloud League scores and videos from the iFLY Fort Lauderdale team for the month of December have concluded the ICL 2024 season. The first six sequences for January of the new year have been available for a week and offer a fresh start into the fourth year after the impact of the corona virus crisis.

It has been a slow and consistent recovery for the Indoor Cloud League participants. The last year before the pandemic impact was the 2019 season when eight different teams posted scores. Four of the teams (Hurricane Factory, iFLY Seattle, iFLY Tampa, iFLY Dallas) submitted scores and videos for each of the 12 months in 2019, and Paraclete XP still placed 2nd after missing scoring numbers for only the six June sequences.

The 2024 season of the Indoor Cloud League was the first year after the pandemic when three teams submitted scores and videos for each of the twelve months (Hurricane Factory, iFLY Dallas, iFLY Fort Lauderdale). The ICL Midwest team had a strong start, including the highest total for July, before dropping out in August. The recovery from the pandemic seems to continue, as Paraclete XP have been working on plans for a comeback this year. The NSL News mentioned on December 21st that the members of the new XP Angels team will organize Indoor Cloud League events at Paraclete XP.

4Action lineup of 2024
The iFLY Fort Lauderdale team concluded the 2024 season with two lineups who each performed three sequences. The exception of the ICL rules with permission for December allowed the ICL team at iFLY Fort Lauderdale to complete all twelve monthly 2024 leaderboards flawlessly.

AA/Intermediate Class team 4Action are still recruiting a new lineup for this year. Former point Marcella Rey has joined the XP Angels, as the NSL News reported with the same December update. Former Volaticus and new XP Angels member Natalie Arcia took the point slot once again for the December sequences. Her Volaticus team mate Andrew Vladelshchikov was the tail for 4Action in November and December.

4Action tail Anatoly Yuntsevich switched to inside center, as Felipe Della Giustina was neither available in November nor in December. In fact, iFLY Fort Lauderdale's AAA/AA lineup was identical in November and December with the 4Action/Volaticus combination. The 2-month lineup of last year's AA/Intermediate Class competitors tried to get used to each other as good as it was possible, while they were performing the AAA sequences with slot-switchers, as well. Anatoly Yuntsevich was the only 4Action/Volaticus member who also had a new slot as inside center. Natalie Arcia was point for both teams, Andrew Vladelshchikov tail. Jake Pearlman was the outside center for 4Action and in the same slot for the November/December sequences. XP Angels inside center Marcella Rey guided Daniel Seigel, Sara Jagessar and Francisco Silva through the three Rookie Class sequences in her new insider center position.
