NSL News reporter Kurt Gaebel was car pooling with tryout candidate Thiago Gomes, and the NSL News story on 11 December 2009 brought the tryout activities to the NSL News audience.
Thiago Gomes and Kurt Gaebel shared the 520-mile drive once again two years later on Thursday, however, the situation has changed for both. Thiago Gomes has been the Rhythm Tail for two years, and he is now in Raeford to select the new Center Inside, together with JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz.
Kurt Gaebel is still reporting for the NSL News, even though the tryout project includes him as a candidate in the selection procedure for the Center Inside slot this time.
The three returning Rhythm members are ready to open the team doors and let the audience experience the feeling of a Rhythm tryout day even more up close and personal.
The first NSL Reality TV video clip also shows another tryout candidate who came early in the morning. Flemming Borup Andersen was a member of Denmark's national 4way team, Bodyflight Voluntas, for years and then joined Perris Blitz after moving to the USA. Now he is ready to move the next step up and into the big league of 4way competition.
It did not take very long in 2009 before the NSL News could announce the new Rhythm member. Only five days after the 2009 tryouts, the story on 16 December 2009 introduced Thiago Gomes as the new Rhythm Tail.
It may take a little bit longer this time. Thiago Gomes, JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz will take their time to make the best call for the next three years and the next step towards the very top of the 4way world.
