News Article Did you know that the SDC Furies XP tied the team's highest meet average last weekend?
posted: Jun 27th, 2011 Last weekend's season opener of the Midwest Skydiving League was the second competition for the SDC Furies XP on home turf at Skydive Chicago. The Furies launched their 2011 season at the Shamrock Showdown 2011 and posted the next scores at the Midway Battle in Ottawa. The scores at the MWSL June meet last weekend brought the Furies back to the highest scoring level that the team has shown in its 9-year history. They finished the 6-round meet with a 15.5 average, which ties the 15.5 average that the Furies had posted at the MWSL September meet in 2009. The scoring progression of the 2011... (more)
News Article Did you know that the ArchRivals are the US Rookie Class team of the year?
posted: Oct 8th, 2010 Two US teams are currently tied in 1st place for the honor of the busiest Rookie Class team in 2010. The regular season is over for the ArchRivals in the Midwest Skydiving League, while the Miami Dropouts have one more opportunity to get meet practice before the NSL Championship concludes the 2010 season at SkyQuest in November. The ArchRivals will win the unofficial title of the Rookie Class season of the year, whether the Dropouts will attend another meet or not. News Article Did you know that the Midwest Skydiving League had a record breaking 2010 season?
posted: Sep 2nd, 2010 The Midwest Skydiving League meets this season have been plagued by threatening weather forecasts, but Saturday proved a stunning exception with a great forecast and terrific jumping conditions all day long. It was the fourth and final meet of the MWSL season and was held at Skydive Chicago, who will also be hosting the USPA Nationals 2010 in less than two weeks. We had seven teams competing, three of which were making their MWSL debuts. News Article Did you know that the ArchRivals are the most improved MWSL team?
posted: Aug 17th, 2010 SDC Rhythm XP received special attention after posting a 21.2 average at last weekend's third meet of the Midwest Skydiving League 2010 season. The NSL News also provided earlier Rhythm videos with the story on 15 August 2010. The same story did not cover the other scores and teams at the same event. MWSL Director Alan Butt now followed up with a more detailed meet report that pointed out as one of the highlights the most improved team of the meet, the new Rookie Class competitors of the ArchRivals. News Article Did you know that there are two different leaderboards this weekend?
posted: Aug 15th, 2010 The record participation at the UK Nationals 2010, with the re-match between Satori and Team Bodyflight after the first UK showdown at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010, has been dominating the NSL Leaderboard this weekend. However, there is another leaderboard of the same weekend that offers additional scores. The UK Nationals 2010 had its own competition draw, which was celebrated live before the beginning of the meet and done manually. News Article Did you know that there is 4-way excitement in the Midwest?
posted: Jul 13th, 2010 Last weekend's leaderboard is complete, as the scores from the Northern Plains have now been added. 49 teams competed, and the situation has not changed much. The teams from the United Kingdom are still on the top in all competition classes. However, one team from the Northern Plains squeezed its name into the Top 3 positions on the front page and denied the complete UK sweep. HTH took the second place in the AA Class by one point over the UK team Sirius. Six of the 49 teams attended the second meet of the Midwest Skydiving League.
