Did you know that the MWSL season opener featured competition in all four categories? posted: Jun 27th, 2010 It was déjà vu time at Skydive Chicago as some of the stormiest weather of the year hit Northern Illinois the night before our MWSL meet. But the weather settled down enough to get most of the season opener in before the wind caused some teams to have to end their meet early.
Eight teams, conveniently enough two in each NSL competition class, were on hand for the meet. The field included nationally ranked SDC Rhythm XP, MWSL veterans SDC Furies and Just4Fun as well as some teams competing for the first time.

Did you know that the MWSL teams are ready for the season opener? posted: Jun 18th, 2010 The next multi-event weekend is coming up, with teams competing at seven different locations. Two teams from the Midwest Skydiving League have the rare opportunity to compete two weeks in a row at the same DZ. SDC Rhythm XP and SDC Furies both competed at the weather plagued inaugural Midway Battle last weekend, together with three other AAA Class teams.

Did you know that the Furies story goes back to the MWSL 2003 season? posted: Sep 15th, 2009 The FAI World Cup 2009 and then the ESL Championship 2009 received recently the most attention of the NSL News, and it was obviously worth it. Both events featured great competition and scores.
However, other events happened at the same time. The last meet of the Northern Plains Skydiving League took place on the September 4 weekend and while the World Cup was finishing up the last two rounds. NPSL Director Sandy Grillet called his true 4-way community together one more time, and almost everybody came to celebrate the end of the NPSL 2009 season.

Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP is now dangerously close to the Mass Defiance record? posted: Aug 19th, 2009 The NSL News story on 12 August 2009 covered the August meet of the Midwest Skydiving League. Seven teams competed at Skydive Chicago, both AAA Class teams (SDC Furies XP, SDC Rhythm XP) completed all ten rounds of the fast AAA Class competition draw, while all other teams went through the 6-round meet as usual. Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP set new MWSL records last weekend? posted: Aug 12th, 2009 The August meet of the Midwest Skydiving League showcased the hard work and commitment that many teams have put in over the 2009 season.
SDC Rhythm XP's Center Outside, JaNette Lefkowitz, provided the meet report for the NSL News.
This Saturday's MWSL meet brought seven teams to Skydive Chicago. It was a typical August weekend, hot and humid, and everyone remarked how refreshing it was at altitude. As a special treat, Kirk Verner was on site to coach and judge the meet. (more)
Did you know that the Dutch teams are still working on the final scores? posted: Aug 10th, 2009 The extra links on the front page to recent events have been changing quickly in the past days. The national championships of Germany, Russia and United Kingdom had their special attention in the middle of the action. The UK teams completed their 4-way competition in record time, while the Russian teams had to show a lot of patience.
The link to the Dutch Nationals 2009 is still active, as the teams try to complete the 10-round meet. The weather situation has made it difficult in the Netherlands, as well. A new link leads to the scores of the national championships in the Czech Republic where... (more)
