News Article Did you know that April was a very busy and very successful month for the Czech national teams?
posted: May 2nd, 2019 The month of April was another very busy time period for the Czech teams who competed at the FAI Indoor World Meet. HF Flying Circus and HF Cubs both first competed at the Hurricane Factory's April meet of the World Tunnel League and then performed the April sequences of the Indoor Cloud League a few days later. Then they had a few days of rest before driving from Prague to Lille in France for the indoor world meet. There was a third team with exactly the same meet and travel agenda. Skydive University Slovakia has been joining the events at the Hurricane Factory since 2016 and posted their... (more)
News Article Did you know that Paraclete XP offers a special bridge between 4-way indoor and outdoor competition?
posted: Apr 9th, 2019 The upcoming FAI Indoor World Meet had an impact on the March event of the Indoor Cloud League at Paraclete, as well. Some of the usual player coaches, who perform the AAA and AA sequences and help the participants with engineering and technical advice, were not available, as the two Paraclete teams in the U.S. delegation (XP8 - XPG4) are busy with getting ready for the high-profile competition at Weembi Lille. XP8 and XPG4 will probably both be competing for gold medals in France and needed the time between Paraclete XP Indoor Championship and departure time for the final preparations. However,... (more)
News Article Did you know that new Czech 4-way junior teams have joined the Indoor Cloud League?
posted: Mar 29th, 2019 The Czech teams were the first ones this month to post Indoor Cloud League scores for March. The three technical sequences were different again between the 12+ and 14+ flying chambers, after an identical month of February with all ICL teams on the same leaderboard. The NSL News pointed out earlier that the best 4-way Junior teams in the world are already training and competing with the AAA Class dive pool and rules, while they still perform AA sequences in the 4-way Junior events at FAI/IPC events. The Czech HF Cubs are one of the teams who have been doing this for a while. The best 4-way... (more)
News Article Did you know that there were several connections between Paraclete XP championship and Indoor Cloud League?
posted: Mar 5th, 2019 Paraclete XP's Indoor Cloud League competitors and coaches were also well represented at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship, together with ICL organizers and participants from other regions in the United States. Hurricane Factory and Paraclete XP had their regular monthly duel for the top spot on the 14+ leaderboard once again in February, and it was a close battle in five of the six categories, with a 1-point advantage for Paraclete XP. The HF Dragonflies junior girls saved the month for the Hurricane Factory with a 31-pointer in the RR Class, which was capped to the maximum score of 25 points. Paraclete's... (more)
News Article Did you know that Seattle Swift is back on the January leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League?
posted: Feb 13th, 2019 The Indoor Cloud League team of the Northwest Skydiving League had a great start into the 2019 season at iFLY Seattle. The total of 115 points brought the 2nd place behind the Czech teams at the Hurricane Factory, ahead of Paraclete XP and iFLY Tampa. The iFLY Seattle team finished with a higher total only once throughout the complete 2018 season. Last year's total still won the 3rd place by five points (1262 - 1257) over iFLY Tampa on the 14+ leaderboard. Seattle Swift member Djordje Mandaric is now captaining the 4-way team and the ICL team both, while Deb Correia still participates as a player... (more)
News Article Did you know that Paraclete XP and Hurricane Factory have similar good problems?
posted: Feb 6th, 2019 The NSL News reported the first monthly scores of the Indoor Cloud League competition in 2019 with the update from the Hurricane Factory in the Czech Republic on February 2nd. It was a great start for the Czech 4-way teams, as they almost matched the December total (145) that finally wrapped up the 2-point advantage over the Paraclete XP team for the year (1461 - 1459) even though Paraclete had won the December competition (149). However, Jan Klapka mentioned earlier that he has a good problem, as his 4-way Junior teams are progressing so quickly through the first stages of 4-way competition... (more)
