News Article Did you know that seven former and current Skydive Midwest NEXT members are on the new ICL Midwest leaderboard?
posted: May 3rd, 2023 It is very unusual if Indoor Cloud League teams end up with tied totals for the six monthly sequences. It is even more unusual when it happens on the top of the leaderboard. In fact, it happened only once in the history of the 14+ leaderboards until the teams of the Hurricane Factory and ICL Midwest finished with 123 points both for the month of April. It was in January 2018 when the Czech teams at the Hurricane Factory and Paraclete XP's lineups tied their totals of 128 points for the highest scoring number. The NSL News reported the unusual situation on 4 February 2018, after both teams had... (more)
News Article Did you know that 4-way teams transition in many ways at this time of the year?
posted: Apr 25th, 2023 The aftermath of the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023 will still continue for a while. FAI/ISC's world championships and world cups are naturally the most relevant events in Formation Skydiving competition and deserve all possible attention. However, other events continue at the same time and need to be covered, as well. The Indoor Cloud League of the NSL Network includes activities and events on the other end of the 4-way spectrum, where the beginners in the sport can make their first steps in 4-way competition. The format includes sequences for the experienced 4-way fans that could be drawn... (more)
News Article Did you know that HF Flying Rebels transitioned once again from AAA to AA sequences?
posted: Apr 23rd, 2023 The 4-way Junior competition of the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023 turned into a very disappointing experience. In fact, the two junior teams from the Czech Republic (HF Flying Rebels) and Slovakia (SDU GenZ) were not even an official part of the competition. The scores and videos were and are not posted on FAI's 1st Category Results Portal, and only the scores appeared on InTime as a separate event under "Tatralandia FS4 Junior Competition 2023". None of the Formation Skydiving powerhouses (United States, France, Belgium, Qatar) sent 4-way junior teams to Slovakia, and the Russian juniors... (more)
News Article Did you know that Guatemala's La Playa team scored for iFLY Colorado in April?
posted: Apr 16th, 2023 The monthly internal Indoor Cloud League 4-way showdown between the teams of the Air Force Academy took place again in March and April. The 4-way seniors of the 9-Ball team were challenged by the Tall Boys and Artemis cadets this time. All three teams performed the two Open Class sequences (AAA/AA), and 9-Ball ended up in 3rd place with the total for March and April (73). Artemis won by one point over Tall Boys (80 - 79) and contributed a total of 65 ICL points to the iFLY Colorado Springs account for both months, including the 22-pointer for the A Class sequence in March. 9-Ball claimed the... News Article Did you know that the Czech Indoor Cloud League has more 4-way junior teams on the March leaderboard than Slovakia?
posted: Apr 5th, 2023 The Indoor Cloud League team of the Czech Republic at the Hurricane Factory opened the leaderboard for the month of March with their total of 102 points for the six sequences. Once again, the majority of the Czech teams on the internal leaderboard were 4-way juniors, from the youngest lineups (Smart Fish, Unicorns) up to the national team in 4-way Junior, HF Flying Rebels. Organizer Jan Klapka needed only two senior teams (HF Cubs, M Team) for two of the six sequences, while the five junior teams took care of the scores for the other four categories. It included the 20-pointer for the AAA... (more)
News Article Did you know that three teams shared the Indoor Cloud League highscores for February?
posted: Mar 29th, 2023 The results of the Indoor Cloud League's February competition scrambled the very young 2023 leaderboard at the end of the second month. The winner of the last two years, Kyle Hermberg's iFLY Dallas team, took back the lead after a 1-point deficit at the end of January. The Top 3 rankings at the end of February currently resemble the final 2022 leaderboard in December, where the new ICL team at iFLY Fort Lauderdale in Florida was not a part of the monthly indoor competition. Anion Flux XP member Felipe Della Giustina launched the new Indoor Cloud League team after training with 4-way fans... (more)
