Did you know that Seattle Swift is training hard for the USPA Nationals 2016? posted: Jul 20th, 2016 The AA Class was the most popular category on last weekend's record breaking leaderboard with a total of 71 teams. Northwest Skydiving League team Seattle Swift took the top spot away from the French team Arbeit 4 ASPU Maubeuge. Swift was five points ahead after five rounds, which were completed by all AA Class teams. Both teams actually completed the next three rounds, as well, and Swift maintained and extended the lead.

Did you know that two Northwest A Class teams fended off DeLand 3D? posted: Aug 19th, 2015 Last weekend's A Class competition featured the same battle between teams from the Northwest Skydiving League and Florida as in the AA Class competition.
It was an interesting draw with several overlapping sequences, which allows teams to compare their own scores with teams in the next higher category.
AA and A Class teams had two identical sequences in Rounds 2 and 3, while two Rookie Class sequences in Rounds 1 and 5 were identical with the A Class.

The Sun Path Products NSL News has covered the relationship between the indoor and outdoor world many times, and very specifically on June 25th.
The story explained how the Northwest Skydiving League teams and competitors use the iFLY Seattle facilities and the Indoor Cloud League activities with great results. The success of the NWSL indoor/outdoor combination became even measurable last weekend.

Did you know that the most experienced A Class team finished on top of last weekend's leaderboard? posted: Jun 26th, 2015 Last weekend's A Class competition was not as clearly dominated by US teams as it was in the AA Class. The teams in the Top 4 positions competed at four different locations: Northwest (USA) - Netheravon (United Kingdom) - Florida (USA) - Tomscat (Netherlands).
The final rankings on the overall leaderboard were determined after four rounds, as well as in the AA Class, where teams in Florida were stopped after Round 4. There were several moves on the leaderboard, and GravitonZ had the biggest one up the rankings, from 6th to 3rd place.

Did you know that the league's indoor and outdoor activities in the Northwest are mutually beneficial? posted: Jun 25th, 2015 The international teams dominated the overall AAA Class leaderboard last weekend, while the situation was the opposite in the AA Class.
Four US teams from three different leagues outscored all AA Class teams from the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. A few adjustments of the leaderboard were necessary to determine the final rankings, which are based on the total number of points after Round 4, as DeLand Flashpoint was one of the victims of the Florida summer weather pattern.

Did you know that NWSL teams and competitors concluded their 2014 season in a funny and creative way? posted: Sep 19th, 2014 The Northwest Skydiving League held its final meet of the season on September 13, with unusually warm weather for this time of year in the Northwest. The teams got a great start, with the first load taking off shortly after 9am. All teams competed at Skydive Snohomish, as Synergy, which normally competes at Skydive Kapowsin, was at the USPA Nationals. Bill Selig served as judge for the meet.
The friendly competition between the A Class teams, JOES and Fun Sponge, continued. The two teams are coached respectively by Dave and Deb Correia. JOES took an early lead, topping Fun Sponge by 3 points... (more)
