Did you know that Deb Correia calls the Northwest Skydiving League community back to action? posted: May 16th, 2012 The Northwest Skydiving League was one of the first leagues that joined Florida, Georgia and Texas (1998) for the National Skydiving League and was launched by Art Bori in 2000. Harry Waller continued and directed the NWSL activities when Art Bori stepped back in 2003.
Deb Correia, who trained and competed with Elsinore Vengeance in 2004 and 2005, has been supporting 4way in the northwest region of the USA ever since, whether she was competing herself or not. The NWSL lost momentum over the years and had its last active season in 2007 when Overcast was the last and only NWSL 4way team.

Did you know that Lisa Albrecht is ready for her comeback with Vengeance? posted: Sep 21st, 2006 The next meet report of the NSL Playoffs 2006 weekend came in from the Northwest Skydiving League. NWSL Director Harry Waller wrote the story for the NSL News.
The last meet of the NWSL 2006 season got a slow start, with a typical September day in the Northwest: low clouds - and lots of them! While the jumpers were ready to go by the planned 9:00 am wheels up, the huge early morning hole over the DZ closed at about 8:50 am. It was many hours later before we got in the air, and we had to exit early several times.

Did you know that Elsinore Vengeance competed with an alternate on August 19? posted: Aug 30th, 2006 The NSL News catches up with a competition that took place while the NSL office was still on the road. The scores and meet information from the last meet of the Northwest Skydiving League are now available, and NWSL Director Harry Waller wrote the outline of the meet story.
Meet #2 of the Northwest Skydiving League started early on August 19 and proceeded without a hitch. However, it proved challenging for Elsinore Vengeance. Training was going well this year until the team's Point, Lisa Albrecht, broke her leg three weeks ago on the 3rd jump of a 2-day training camp in Oregon. (more)
Did you know that a new AA/Intermediate Class leader comes with the Northwest Skydiving League scores? posted: Jul 23rd, 2006 The scores of the Northwest Skydiving League's first meet of the 2006 season have now been added to last weekend's leaderboard and have changed the picture of the AA/Intermediate Class competition. The top position of the AA Class Rankings has finally changed, Elsinore Vengeance had a powerful comeback on July 15.

Did you know that everybody was a winner in the Northwest Skydiving League? posted: Aug 4th, 2005 With beautiful blue skies, views of snow capped mountain tops, the Puget Sound, and competitors eager to jump, the Northwest Skydiving League held its second meet of the 2005 season in Snohomish, Washington. Three teams competed with the local Washington and traveling Oregon mixture.
Elsinore Vengeance has been training since February with the newest team member filling the Point position, Lisa Albrecht. Vengeance also has a new team videographer who joined the team this year, Luke Nevin. Deb and Dave Correia have switched their slots of Inside Center and Tail. Jeff Smith returned as the Outside... Did you know that Northwest Skydiving League teams saw some snow in Snohomish last weekend? posted: Aug 19th, 2004 The 3rd Northwest Skydiving League Meet was held on August 14 at Skydive Snohomish. A temporary flight restriction was issued Friday afternoon until Saturday morning due to the President visiting our area. So teams were unable to practice on Friday. We were concerned about whether or not we'd get to start early enough on Saturday to complete the meet. Luckily the restriction was lifted right on time, and the sky was clear.
Seven teams showed up for the competition, and Skydive Snohomish brought in Kapowsin's Otter to accommodate the number of teams along with the 56 tandems on their schedule.... (more)
