posted: Oct 28th, 2020 The October meet of the Southern California Skydiving League was one of the events that used the competition draw of the NSL Cloud Mondial 2020. It allows the participating teams to compare their own scores with the best teams in the world, and with several others on similar performance and scoring levels. This format is the same that the National Skydiving League has been using since it was launched with three leagues (Florida, Texas, Georgia) in 1998. News Article Did you know that the Southern California Skydiving League is alive?
posted: Jun 17th, 2020 The NSL News reported on June 14th that Skydive Elsinore hosted the first outdoor competition of the year with the June meet of the Southern California Skydiving League. The same story explained how the National Skydiving League network will try to master the corona virus crisis and its aftermath as good as possible under the circumstances. The next and separate leaderboard with the same ten sequences in all four NSL categories (AAA - AA - A - RRR) for the month of June is now showing indoor scores for the same competition draw. posted: Jun 14th, 2020 The first scores after the long corona virus break came from the most recent Indoor Cloud League event in the Czech Republic, as the NSL News reported on June 4th. The Hurricane Factory has been back in operation for a few weeks, and the Czech 4-way teams generated the first indoor scores and videos. The first outdoor scores are also coming from an event of the National Skydiving League network. It was the Southern California Skydiving League that made the first step for a comeback of Formation Skydiving competition. posted: Dec 18th, 2019 The outdoor training and competition season in America and Europe has been over for a while. Teams and competitors have mostly turned to the wind tunnels, with a few exceptions in Florida, Southern California and locations in the southern parts of Europe. At the same time, the planning for the 2020 season is either completed, as well, or it is in full swing at this point in time. News Article Did you know that Christy Frikken helped out for her former Perris Fury team mate Josh Hall?
posted: Sep 6th, 2019 Josh Hall was one of Niklas Hemlin's team mates at the FAI World Meet 2012, where Arizona Airspeed posted the highest outdoor average in the history of Formation Skydiving competition, as the NSL News mentioned yesterday. The same story pointed out that Josh Hall has been player-coaching Elsinore Elevate in 2018 and 2019. Elevate won the USPA bronze medals in the AAA/Advanced Class at last year's national championships and will probably try to win gold later this month. News Article Did you know that original Perris Fury members Christy Frikken and Josh Hall battled last weekend in Elsinore?
posted: Aug 21st, 2018 Last weekend's 4-way meets brought together AAA Class teams from three different locations. Four teams competed at Skydive Perris (Southerm California), while Seattle Swift (Northwest) and SDC Jetstream Tango XP (Midwest) performed their six rounds on their own home turf at the respective league meets this month. In fact, Seattle Swift and SDC Jetstream XP both completed more than only the six meet rounds for additional competition practice. Seattle Swift made it through Round 9 last weekend, and Jetstream Tango went beyond the ten rounds and posted even a scoring number for the extra round. However,... (more)
