News Article Did you know that Demo McDonnell and Rich Delgado have joined forces for Spaceland Toxic?
posted: May 17th, 2021 John "Demo" McDonnell's 4-way career story goes far back in the NSL News records. He is currently running the Spaceland Toxic 4-way project that he launched in 2012. He is still a member of the AA/Intermediate Class lineup, and Toxic won the most recent AA Class competition with eight teams from four different NSL league regions in the United States. His name appeared for the first time in the NSL News records when Team America competed for the Texas Skydiving League at the NSL Championship event of SkyQuest 2005. Team America had attended four meets of the TSL Rookie Class in 2005 before traveling... (more)
News Article Did you know that Scott Latinis wrapped up the Texas season opener?
posted: May 1st, 2021 The Texas Skydiving League 2021 season is off to a tremendous start. Meet #1 was hosted by Spaceland San Marcos. Due to the corona virus crisis, last year's event was postponed from April to August. Having the event in April this year was just another step back towards "normal". Eleven teams, spread across all four NSL divisions, were in attendance. This was the highest participation at any TSL meet since 2015. The days prior to the meet saw rain, rain, and more rain. Yet, Saturday was beautiful as if Mother Nature decided that she would reward such a great attendance with almost perfect... (more)

posted: Apr 27th, 2021 The official judging of the first four Shamrock Showdown Cloud rounds by Russia's Tanay 8-way team will be delayed until the weekend. The South African national championships are currently taking place as a live event, and the InTime judging panel will only be able to resume with the Shamrock Showdown Cloud once the event is over. In the meantime, the Texas Skydiving League has launched the 2021 season with another live event at Skydive San Marcos. The TSL 2021 season begins much earlier than last year when the three hosts (San Marcos - Houston - Dallas) restarted in August after the pandemic... (more)
News Article Did you know that Spaceland Toxic, Spaceland Thunder and Mom X S3 won the Texas Skydiving League 2020?
posted: Oct 16th, 2020 The Texas Skydiving League was probably the most successful organization in Formation Skydiving competition in mastering the 2020 season. TSL Director Scott Latinis managed to run the three events that he had planned for this year, despite the problems that the corona virus pandemic brought to the sport. He launched the 2020 season significantly later than usual, and the participation was still only slightly lower. He adjusted the schedule when the implications of the pandemic became obvious and started with the Spaceland San Marcos Showdown in August. He followed up with the Texas part of the... (more)
News Article Did you know that San Marcos 4-Way Showdown draws seven teams?
posted: Sep 2nd, 2020 The day started with low clouds and high temperatures. After the briefing, the teams started prepping for the first round. World champion/Arizona Airspeed alumnus and Spaceland San Marcos DZ manager Thomas Hughes gathered all members of the Rookie Class teams to provide valuable information about exiting a "chunk." He also made himself available throughout the day to help with engineering and block techniques. Meanwhile, chief judge Josh Schirard went over the video downloading procedures with the videographers. Competition Load 1 went up with four teams. After two passes, the plane landed and... (more)
News Article Did you know that the USPA Nationals are next for the Texas Skydiving League teams?
posted: Aug 21st, 2019 The last meet of the Texas Skydiving League, this year's Dallas Super Cup, was scheduled a weekend before several more teams posted their scores in all categories, and the teams in Texas had the whole leaderboard for themselves. It was the final meet of the Texas Skydiving League 2019 season and took place at Spaceland Dallas on Saturday, August 10th. Meet director Scott Latinis kicked off the meet with the competitor briefing, introduced judges Ron Shipp and Bill Schmitt, and followed up with a discussion of the basic rules of a 4-way meet, before DZ manager Ben Nelson finished with a thorough...
