News Article Did you know that the NSL SkyVenture Competition scores of the July 24 weekend are posted?
posted: Aug 2nd, 2004 The first scores of last weekend's meets have been posted. The Great Lakes Skydiving League won this race for the earliest postings at the NSL website. The Carolina and Georgia Skydiving League had meets last weekend, as well, and will follow soon with their scores posted here and at the GSL and CaSL websites. (more)
News Article Did you know that the details of the last Texas Skydiving League competition are posted?
posted: Jul 31st, 2004 Skydive Dallas hosted the 3rd TSL meet of the 2004 season on July 24th and 25th. Eleven teams returned once again to test their skills in the air. As before there were six AAA Class teams including Dallas Cyclone as a guest team. Four of the teams call Skydive Dallas home, those being Dallas Thunder, Dallas Tantrum, Dallas Cyclone and Rave. Mischief and Touch-N-Go made the trip from Houston and call Skydive Spaceland home. The line up in the AA Class included the same four teams as the last meet and hail from all over Texas: Avalanche and Pinky V from Skydive Dallas, 4 of a Kind from Skydive Spaceland,... (more)
News Article Did you know that a controversy over Block 12 ensued at the last TSL meet?
posted: Jun 28th, 2004 On June 19-20 at Skydive Dallas, the Texas Skydiving League had its second meet for the 2004 season. Eleven teams competed in three categories of 4-way on Saturday and four teams competed in a single category of 8-way on Sunday. On Saturday, there were six teams in the AAA Class, including five teams registered for the season and one guest team. There were another four teams in AA and one team in the Rookie Class. The weather was beautiful in the early Texas morning as the league director, Ryan Smith, the chief judge Sherry Schrimscher, and the DZ manager Joe Rekart briefed the competitors. (more)
