News Article Did you know that the Dallas Super Cup scores were boosted not only by a Super Sequence?
posted: Sep 24th, 2012 The 2012 season is also over for the 4way teams in Texas, except for those who will travel to Eloy for the USPA Nationals in October or to DeLand for the NSL Championship in November. The Dallas Super Cup concluded the 2012 season in a fashionable way, as the competition draw for last weekend included a Super Sequence in Round 4 (J-F-E-Q-N). A sequence of only Random Formations is nothing unusual for Rookie Class teams, and the A Class draw includes sequences with three Random Formations on a regular basis, as well. AAA Class teams and even AA Class teams have to wait much longer until a... (more)
News Article Did you know that Spaceland Lite won the 3rd duel over Dallas Khaos XP?
posted: Sep 6th, 2012 Teams from Texas gathered for the third time this year on the August 25 weekend. Skydive Dallas was the host this time after Skydive Spaceland and Skydive San Marcos had their earlier meets in May and July. It was also the third showdown between Spaceland Lite and Dallas Khaos XP in the AAA Class. Spaceland Lite, with Katrina Shows, Joseph Wood, Devon Shows Christina West and Cory Kossan on camera, AAA/Advanced Class gold medalist at the USPA Nationals 2011, won again, this time on Dallas Khaos XP home turf. Dallas Khaos XP, silver medalist at last year's USPA Nationals in the AA/Intermediate... (more)
News Article Did you know that Skydive San Marcos hosted the Texas Summer Showdown?
posted: Jul 31st, 2012 Last weekend's overall leaderboard needs once again a few adjustments in the two categories where teams competed at different locations and completed different numbers of rounds. The German teams used the whole weekend of great weather in Kassel-Calden to complete all ten rounds of the draw. The teams at Skydive San Marcos in Texas competed only on Saturday and were done after six rounds. To make it fair, only the first six rounds of the Usual Suspects should count for the overall standings, which would place the German AAA Class team on the top in this category. Spaceland Lite and Dallas... (more)
News Article Did you know that two USPA medalists of 2011 battled with each other last weekend in Texas?
posted: May 21st, 2012 The NSL News reported on 16 May 2012 that the Northwest Skydiving League is resuming the 4way activities this year. The Texas Skydiving League is also back in the NSL Network with four separate meets scheduled for the 2012 season. The first competition took place in Spaceland last weekend, and the scores from Texas are part of a leaderboard with multiple events (Florida, Germany, Lithuania, Northern Plains, Texas). It is no big surprise that Spaceland Lite is on the top of the AAA Class rankings. Katrina Shows, Richard Rothery, Devon Shows and Christina West, with Cory Kossan on camera, won... (more)

posted: Sep 20th, 2009 One of this year's top contenders for gold medals at the USPA Nationals 2009 made a great effort to get ready for the championship and is out of luck at Spaceland in Texas, host of the competition in October. Perris Fury has had serious video trouble at this weekend's September meet of the Texas Skydiving League, and in addition Fury did not get the competition they were looking for. The Perris team started the 2009 season on a busy meet schedule, with the Valentine's Meet in February, the FSL Shamrock Showdown in March and the World Challenge in April. Fury met Arizona Airspeed at each of... (more)
News Article Did you know that the top contenders are observing each other carefully?
posted: Jul 30th, 2009 The NSL News reported on 5 April 2009 that Arizona Airspeed extended the team's undefeated winning streak to 17 - 0 at the World Challenge 2009. It has already been extended to 18 - 0 after the dominating performance at the World Games 2009. Two Airspeed members, Andy Delk and Mark Kirkby, also competed at the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championship 2009, where Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard could not join the lineup. Perris Fury won the indoor competition over Arizona Speed where Thomas Hughes and John Eagle filled the open slots. However, this competition cannot really be counted... (more)
