News Article Did you know that new NSL-TV of the NSL Playoffs 2006 comes from Colorado?
posted: Sep 22nd, 2006 The Colorado Skydiving League takes care of this weekend's on-line entertainment for everybody who is not skydiving and/or might have to wait out any weather situation. COSL Director Travis Roth provided the meet videos of each jump that was made at the NSL Playoffs 2006 weekend, and they are all posted at the separate NSL-TV event page already. (more)
News Article Did you know that four Air Force teams plan to defend the NSL title at SkyQuest 2006?
posted: Sep 18th, 2006 Colorado Skydiving League Director Travis Roth happily announced a successful conclusion of the 2006 season after last weekend's NSL Playoffs event at the Mile-Hi Skydiving Center. "Our weather last weekend was surprisingly windy. A few loads took off early on Saturday morning, however the winds picked up to 50 MPH quickly. While a friend of mine had fun with a wingsuit running around Downtown Denver catching gusts of winds and the eyes of confused tourists, skydivers were not jumping anywhere in Colorado. (more)
News Article Did you know that Colorado Skydiving League competitors recently produced a commercial clip?
posted: Jun 24th, 2006 2B Productions contacted the National Skydiving League in May looking for a few Colorado skydivers to act and jump in a promotional video being shot for RE/MAX. The National Skydiving League headquarters referred the producer to Colorado Skydiving League Director Travis Roth. Travis Roth now reported how things moved on after the contact was made: "When the producer contacted me, she had a lot of questions. I mentioned to her that one of my 'day jobs' is designing lighting systems for productions, and as it turned out we knew a lot of the same people in our professional lives." (more)
News Article Did you know that the Air Force teams switched positions in Colorado?
posted: Jun 6th, 2006 Three teams of the Air Force Academy competed once again at last weekend's third competition of the Colorado Skydiving League. Air Force CAD and Air Force Shockwave had taken the first two places at the CSL May meet. The same line-ups took first and second place again last weekend, only in switched positions. AF CAD's meet average went from 9.8 in May to 9.2 in June, while AF Shockwave improved the meet average from 8.8 in May to 10.3 last weekend. This was even enough for Shockwave to take the Air Force's internal lead (9.6 - 9.5) according to the season average in the AA Class. AF 7XY follows... (more)
News Article Did you know that four Air Force teams competed in Colorado last weekend?
posted: May 9th, 2006 Two teams of the Air Force Academy, BOS and 7XY, came back for the second meet of the Colorado Skydiving League 2006 after competing at the season opener in April. Air Force CAD also attended the team's second meet after competing at the SSL Valentine's Meet 2006 in February. The Air Force Academy sent a new fourth line-up into the race last weekend, the Air Force Shockwave. The AA/Intermediate Class competition draw at the second COSL meet was slower compared to the SSL meet in February and also slower than the one at the COSL April meet. News Article Did you know that more Air Force teams have joined the AA Class/Intermediate Class competition?
posted: Apr 11th, 2006 The Colorado Skydiving League added a total of four teams to last weekend's field, three teams in the AA/Intermediate Class and one Rookie Class team. The NSL News story on March 4 had announced new leadership for the CSL 2006 season with Travis Roth as the new CSL Director. Travis Roth worked hard to prepare the league for the first meet, and he was glad to report a successful season opener at the Mile-Hi Skydiving Center last weekend. The two teams of the Air Force Academy took the first two places in the AA/Intermediate Class, while "Mayhem" did not have any competition in the Rookie Class.... (more)
