Have you heard that Scrambles and Rookies do well in Colorado despite weather issues? posted: May 10th, 2005 The Colorado Skydiving League held its second event of the 2005 season last weekend at the Mile-Hi Skydiving Center. The Scrambles event and the Rookie Class competition took place on Saturday, while the AA Class teams competed on Sunday. CSL Director Brian Vande Krol provided the meet story.
Clouds and winds on Saturday kept some skydivers home and prevented the competitors from completing all of their rounds. Team Awesome braved the winds and completed all three rounds, while Team Joe only finished one round. Caged Animals completed two rounds. (more)
Have you heard that the first Colorado Skydiving League comeback event was a huge success? posted: Apr 5th, 2005 After being weathered out for the original date for the first meet of the year of the Colorado Skydiving League, we were blessed with some of the best weather of the year for the rescheduled meet. The turn out was great with one Rookie team, four Scrambles teams and one late entry team for Scrambles that could not finish before the beer drinking and pizza eating began. The King Air flew 26 loads, and the Mile Hi Skydiving Center did a great job of making sure everyone got all 3 rounds in. (more)
