The team was formed at the end of the 2006 season, and the NSL News story introduced the members of the new line-up.
The preview of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2007 on 11 March 2007 confirmed that Fastrax Blue would attend the team's first competition with the new line-up in DeLand last weekend.

Did you know that the top scores at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2007 set a new record? posted: Mar 20th, 2007 The NSL-TV coverage of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2007 begins much earlier compared to the Valentine's Meet 2007. It was obviously easier to get access to the videos since the meet took place at the home location of the NSL headquarters in DeLand. Still nothing is perfect, and a few videos are missing of the first round. They will be added later.

Did you know that the Shamrock Showdown teams were falling in style? posted: Mar 19th, 2007 The DeLand Beacon had launched the media coverage of the Shamrock Showdown with a preview last week.
The Orlando Sentinel covered the Shamrock Showdown competition action on Saturday with an article that featured Fastrax Blue, while News Channel 13 captured a few scenes and interviews for the local TV station.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal finally followed up today with a beautiful freefall image of Team Fastrax on the front page and a brief announcement of the winner, Airspeed Odyssey. (more)

The Golden Knights ended up in 3rd place with a 22.2 meet average after ten rounds, and it was not a fast competition draw in DeLand at all. (more)

Thirty-five seconds to win. Thirty-five seconds to be the best in the air.
Competitive skydiving teams from all over the world will leap out of perfectly good airplanes in the Shamrock Skydiving Showdown in national skydiving's East Coast season-opener.
To watch for yourself as they fall out of the sky, grab binoculars and a blanket or chair, and claim a piece of turf at the DeLand Municipal Airport. The competition should provide spectators with plenty to watch throughout Saturday and Sunday, March 17 and 18. Skydiving begins 9 a.m. both days.
