News Article Did you know that the weather did not hold back the teams in the Netherlands?
posted: Jun 25th, 2007 The weather conditions in the Netherlands and the Midwest turned out with very different results. MWSL Director Alan Butt had to cancel the event when the Sunday weather did not bring any improvements. The seven teams that waited for jumping conditions at the Chicagoland Skydiving Center will have to wait until the next MWSL meet on July 21. The teams in the Netherlands had much better luck. The weather hold on Saturday could be lifted early enough, and there was still enough time on the weekend to complete nine rounds for all 22 Dutch teams. News Article Did you know that the Dutch Tomscat Trophy 2007 has a new record participation?
posted: Jun 23rd, 2007 Two NSL News stories on May 11 and May 24 provided updates from the Netherlands and a preview of the first meet of the 2007 season, the Tomscat Trophy 2007. This weekend it was time for the showdown of the Dutch teams in Hoogeveen. It was the 13th time that the Tomscat Trophy was held, and it seems as if it will be the 13th time that Paul Hofstee will win the first place at the same event. His new team, Dynamic Force, dominates the field of eight AAA Class teams after four rounds. (more)
News Article Did you know that Round 1 of the World Challenge 2007 is now on NSL-TV?
posted: Jun 22nd, 2007 Bodyflight Bedford and CamScore, the new judging and DZ-TV program that was used very successfully at the World Challenge 2007, are now bringing some of the original videos of the competition to the audience via NSL-TV. The NSL News story on May 26 had already introduced the World Challenge 2007 DVD, which can still be purchased in Bodyflight Bedford's online store. The features and the quality of the footage on the DVD is naturally much better than the video files that have now been uploaded for NSL-TV. News Article Did you know that Cross Keys Air Pollution climbs to the top of the AA Class?
posted: Jun 21st, 2007 The NSL News introduces the next contender for this year's top positions. Ranch Pulse was already covered as one of the top contenders in USPA's AAA/Advanced Class competition for this year's championship with the story on June 5. This time, the AA/Intermediate Class competition has its turn and finds one of the top teams in the MidAtlantic Skydiving League. Skydive Cross Keys hosted the second attempt to launch the 2007 season last weekend. The first event, the MASL Rookie Challenge, was scheduled for April 28 and weathered out. News Article Did you know that new NSL-TV features Round 1 of last weekend's competition?
posted: Jun 20th, 2007 Last weekend's leaderboard is now complete. The scores of nine teams from the Carolina Skydiving League have been added, and it includes the first meet results in 2007 of the Army's female line-up. The NSL News will follow up with more detailed information very soon. In the meantime, NSL-TV has gone back to normal operation, and the first videos of the Florida Skydiving League competition in DeLand have been uploaded. Round 1 is now featured and shows the first of three sequences with three blocks in the AAA Class competition. (more)
News Article Did you know that Mile Hi Mayhem challenges the top contenders of this year's Rookie Class?
posted: Jun 19th, 2007 The Colorado Skydiving League literally had the minimum attendance last weekend at its second meet of the 2007 season. Only Rookie Class team Mile Hi Mayhem completed four rounds on their hometurf. COSL Director Travis Roth reported that the Air Force teams have left for the summer on training programs all over the world, and his other civilian COSL teams had scheduling conflicts.
