News Article Did you know that two teams from Skydive Miami attended the FSL meet in DeLand?
posted: Jun 18th, 2007 The 4-way summer in Florida is gaining new momentum. It has been a while that six teams from Florida attended a summer meet. Skydive DeLand hosted the 4th FSL meet of the 2007 season, and all six teams completed the six rounds on Saturday after a day with perfect weather conditions. It was not a weekend where any teams would be able to post new record scores. The toughest golfing weekend at the US Open happened to coincide with the slowest competition draw of the 2007 season, at least for the teams in the AAA Class and also in the AA Class. (more)

posted: Jun 14th, 2007 John Hoover's NSL Profile has not been updated ever since the Golden Knights switched priority from 8-way to 4-way. His currently posted profile story does not even include one of the peaks in his career, the 4-way gold medals at the USPA Nationals 2002. It also does not mention his Army service in Afghanistan. The NSL Profile was posted when the Golden Knights put John Hoover in charge to form a new 4-way line-up for the Army, it was the end of the 2000 season. The profile story still mentions that he recruited Eric Heinsheimer (Tail), Kurt Isenberger (Center Outside) and Chris Talbert (Center... (more)

The Northwest Skydiving League competition was weathered out, and two teams managed to beat the weather on the east coast with six jumps at Skydive New England. However, the results of these two NESL teams were still interesting enough. One of the two teams was Mass Defiance, USPA's Advanced Class champion of 2005. Mass Defiance members Ben Liston and Brian Stephens have also taken over the league management in New England this year and... (more)
