News Article Did you know that Ranch Pulse has a chance to make history this year?
posted: Jun 5th, 2007 The NSL News goes back to the meet weekend on May 26. The Ranch Skydiving League had its season opener at the Blue Sky Ranch, and RSL Director Roger Cunha has provided one meet video of each team. Two of the four teams that competed in May came back from the RSL 2006 season. Ranch Fusion competed in the AA Class last year and signed up for the same competition class for 2007. Fusion 2006 had posted 8.5 and 8.8 averages at the two RSL meets the team attended in 2006 and finished the 10-round competition at the USPA Nationals 2006 with a 10.3 average. (more)
News Article Did you know that a British AAA Class team competed in California?
posted: Jun 4th, 2007 Today's first NSL News story covered the British part of last weekend's international competition. The story included the fact that no AAA Class teams competed at UK's Grand Prix competition in Langar. However, this was not the complete truth since one British AAA Class team posted scores last weekend. Perris Storm is the same team that the NSL News already introduced with the story on January 24, only the team name has changed slightly. The line-up is still the same, with Hannah Betts (Center Inside), Sarah Smith (Point), Claire "Sparky" Scott (Center Outside) and Kate Stephens (Tail). Gary... (more)
News Article Did you know that teams from Great Britain control three competition classes?
posted: Jun 4th, 2007 Last weekend's leaderboard is not complete yet. The scores from France, Austria and Arizona are still missing. However, the current standings are already interesting enough and offer plenty of food for thoughts and discussion. Last weekend's leaderboard can be commented in the new NSL Forum, which is not busy enough yet anyway... (more)
News Article Did you know that FSL competitor Thiago Muradas competed already at two world meets?
posted: Jun 2nd, 2007 This weekend's first scores have already been posted. The teams in Germany and Great Britain are already in the middle of their competitions, and the NSL News will continue to update the leaderboard regularly. In the meantime, the NSL News goes back to the May meet of the Florida Skydiving League. The videos of the second round have been uploaded and feature the next part of the race between the two AA Class teams, Z-Team and Tunnel Chaos. (more)
News Article Did you know that the NSL News will cover the Paraclete XP Money Meet 2007 live on site?
posted: Jun 1st, 2007 The NSL News special event coverage has added one more high-profile competition to the line-up of world-class 4-way events this year. The Raeford Parachute Center in North Carolina is the host of the Paraclete XP Money Meet 2007. The event is scheduled for July 28 - 29, 2007. The month of July 2007 offers a lot of prize money to the best 4-way teams in the world. The total amount of $50,000 is in the July jackpot. $36,000 will be handed out at the Malevsky Cup 2007, additional $16,000 will be divided between the teams on the first three places at the Paraclete XP Money Meet 2007. News Article Did you know that the Midwest teams know some secret keys to success?
posted: May 31st, 2007 The preview of the Midwest Skydiving League teams is not complete yet, and the first meet is already coming up this weekend. The information of the remaining teams that MWSL Director Alan Butt already knows about at this point will now conclude the MWSL preview right in time. The first story on May 15 provided an overview of all teams and introduced the 2007 line-up of Skydive Chicago's Furies. The follow-up story on May 23 introduced Chicagoland Skydiving Center's team Rhythm and discussed the expected AAA Class competition in the Midwest.
