News Article Did you know that the Dutch teams will post their first scores at the Tomscat Trophy in June?
posted: May 24th, 2007 The NSL News began with a preview of the 2007 situation in the Netherlands with the story on May 11. Punky Fish, the Dutch national 4-way of the past years, decided to discontinue after the World Meet 2006 in Germany, and the slot of the new national team is open. The same counts for the situation in FAI's female category of the 4-way event. Infinity represented the Netherlands at the World Meet 2006 in Germany and does not come back for the 2007 season. News Article Did you know that the Midwest Skydiving League features an exciting AAA Class competition this year?
posted: May 23rd, 2007 The NSL News story on May 15 provided a preview of the Midwest Skydiving League's 2007 season, which will be launched with the first meet on June 2. The new 2007 line-up of Skydive Chicago's Furies was introduced with the first MWSL story. The NSL News continues with the second MWSL team that will compete in the AAA Class this year. CSC Rhythm has its home at the Chicagoland Skydiving Center and was already introduced briefly in a review of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2007. News Article Did you know that 4-way participation is growing in Denmark?
posted: May 23rd, 2007 The NSL News story on April 3 provided an update from Denmark. It also included a live interview with two members of the Danish 4-way project, Torben Tidemand and Vibeke Birk. Torben Tidemand trains and competes with the new Danish national 4-way team, Danish Blaze. Vibeke Birk is a member of the Danish B-Team, Sequence. Both provided information and feedback for the NSL News after their training camps in DeLand. Last weekend, their teams competed at the first meet of the 2007 season in Denmark. News Article Did you know that Tunnel Chaos and the Z-Team went neck to neck in Florida?
posted: May 22nd, 2007 Skydive City in Zephyrhills hosted the third meet of the Florida Skydiving League 2007 season. Four teams put their names on last weekend's leaderboard, which is now only missing the teams of the Carolina Skydiving League. Three new team names from Finland have already been added earlier today. Teiwaz represented the Florida Skydiving League in the AAA Class competition and currently holds the top position until the scores of the Golden Knights will be posted. News Article Did you know that the Northern Plains Skydiving League has launched the 2007 season?
posted: May 22nd, 2007 The scores of three different meets last weekend (Denmark, Florida, Northern Plains) have already been posted, and the meet stories will follow. Additional scores from Finland and Carolina will be posted as soon as they are available. The weather at the Cross Keys did not allow the teams of the MidAtlantic Skydiving League to get in the air. The Northern Plains Skydiving League had a hard time to get the meet started on Saturday. News Article Did you know that two French 4-way and 8-way veterans still enjoy competition?
posted: May 18th, 2007 4-way teams and competitors generally seem to have the nature of an "all-or-nothing" approach. There is either a lot of training with a serious commitment, hibernation or retirement. However, a growing number of 4-way fans has already discovered that there is in fact a middle way, and this group of "4-way fun jumpers" is getting bigger. The Florida Skydiving League team Teiwaz is one of the examples in the USA. The Teiwaz line-up currently lists a total of 35 former and current team members who attend meets whenever they feel like joining with other Teiwaz members for a day of 4-way fun. A... (more)
