News Article Did you know that Round 8 opened the second day at the USPA Nationals 2006?
posted: Dec 17th, 2006 Round 7 was the last competition jump on the first day at the USPA Nationals 2006. Skydive Arizona's airlift machine had managed to push through the highest number of rounds on one day in USPA history. Not all teams and competitors were happy with the way it was done, as on-line feedback showed earlier. However, the calls came, and the teams had to board the planes, no matter what. News Article Did you know that Team Fastrax expects to be even stronger with Thomas Hughes?
posted: Dec 15th, 2006 Yesterday's NSL News story broke the news that Mark Kirkby left Team Fastrax and joins Airspeed Odyssey for the 2007 season. The same story went far back in time and to the very beginnings of the entire Airspeed project. Mark Kirkby is one of the original Airspeed members and now goes back to where it all began. There are many interesting aspects of this surprising move. One of them is the fact that Team Fastrax has created a similar project within the skydiving community as Airspeed did in 1994/95. posted: Dec 14th, 2006 The telephone in the NSL office was ringing of the hook this week. There were rumors of interesting changes in the line-ups of some top teams in the USA. The NSL News waited for confirmations directly from the teams before posting any stories. The rumors have turned into facts now, and the first update covers the Airspeed situation. Team speaker Craig Girard told the NSL News that Airspeed has decided to focus on the 4-way event in the near future: "We want to go back where we used to be in 4-way with Airspeed Vertical years ago." News Article Did you know that Optic Nerve and Teiwaz were already locked into each other after Round 2?
posted: Dec 12th, 2006 NSL-TV continues with the coverage of the NSL Championship at SkyQuest 2006. The 4-way competition included once again the annual showdown between Optic Nerve and Teiwaz. News Article Did you know that CTR Optimum won the national championship of Brazil last weekend?
posted: Dec 11th, 2006 CTR Optimum easily defended the Brazilian 4-way title last weekend at this year's national championships. The latest scores on the front page are from Brazil and did not offer any surprises. The ranking order of the current leaderboard is exactly the same as it has been throughout the previous three meets of the regular season. The old and new Brazilian 4-way champion, CTR Optimum, has scores of an additional 5th competition on its team page. Pedrosan (Inside Center), Ziara Abud (Outside Center), Fábio Diniz (Tail), André Ferraz (Point) and Chubby Renato (Camera) represented Brazil at the... (more)
