Did you know that the scores from Georgia are completing last weekend's competition results?
posted: Apr 29th, 2004 The first GSL meet of the season was held at the10th Annual Skydive Monroe Boogie with thanks to Paul Fayard, and his CASA. With all teams exiting at 10,500 with 35 seconds of working time the meet went without a hitch. Seven teams competed at this year’s GSL season opener with three Rookie Class teams: GT Air Lock, Funnel Cakes, and Fresh Meat.Fresh Meat was a pick-up team with boogie jumpers from across the southeast. Funnel Cakes is the local Monroe team competing together for their second year. GT Air Lock is the new Georgia Tech team from Skydive Atlanta and won the Rookie Class competition.M4.1... (more)
Did you know that the NSL SkyVenture Competition continues in 2004 with Orlando and Perris?
posted: Apr 28th, 2004 Last week brought great news for the active NSL 4-way fans. In short words: the NSL SkyVenture Competition is back on for the 2004 season. It took a little bit longer to put the whole 2004 game plan in place since Perris SkyVenture joined SkyVenture Orlando to make the NSL SkyVenture Competition even more attractive and convenient for the winners. Did you know that 20 teams competed in the European Skydiving League last weekend?
posted: Apr 26th, 2004 Some results of last weekend's competitions are already available. Weather was a factor in parts of Europe and also in the USA. The Belgium Skydiving League had a flawless event in Schaffen where a total of eleven teams completed eight rounds. Austria had two events scheduled, the one in Wiener Neustadt was weathered out, and seven teams completed four rounds in Hohenems. High winds interfered in Empuriabrava, Spain, where two teams still completed six rounds. Weather was also in the way for a successful competition in Colorado. Did you know that new NSL-TV show features round five of the FSL Shamrock Showdown?
posted: Apr 26th, 2004 The new NSL-TV show features five AAA Class teams that competed at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004. Round five was an action packed sequence with two Random Formations and two of the faster blocks (J-C-16-1). All AAA Class teams used this opportunity to show off technical skills, energy and speed. It was the most dominating round for DeLand Majik with a performance near to perfection, which coincided with a flawed jump for the closest rival, Italy's Sinapsi PD. Both teams had exchanged the highest scores for the first four rounds with Majik being up by two points at this time. The distance grew... (more)

Did you know that the European Skydiving League launches the 2004 season this weekend?
posted: Apr 23rd, 2004 The upcoming competition weekend brings the first international meet of the 2004 season. The European Skydiving League launches the new season with events at three different locations. Skydiving centers in Belgium, Austria and Spain are hosting the 4-way competitions in Europe, while the Georgia Skydiving League and the Colorado Skydiving League open their 2004 competition season at the same time. This year, the competition draw will be synchronized between the NSL leagues and Europe from the very beginning of the season.
