Did you know that Eliana Rodriguez provided insights from Dubai for the NSL News? posted: Oct 29th, 2012 The first scores are posted at the USPA Nationals 2012, and SDC Rhythm XP opened the meet with a big bang. The 30-pointer tied Arizona Airspeed's score for Round 1. Will Rhythm really be able to give Airspeed a serious competition? That's what the US national team is looking for. However, Airspeed may be a little bit surprised, as it was not really to be exptected at this point in time.
The NSL News goes back to Sunday evening before picking up Monday's action with full steam. A conversation with Eliana Rodriguez offered more insights from Dubai.

Did you know that Sunday at the USPA Nationals 2012 was very quiet in the morning and very busy in the afternoon? posted: Oct 28th, 2012 Sunday was a training and registration day at the USPA Nationals 2012. Most of the 4way and 8way teams took it easy in the morning and arrived later at the dropzone for a few training jumps.
It was very quiet when the NSL News arrived early in the morning, as the new NSL Reality TV clip shows. The same video then picks it back up a few hours later at the same spots and shows a completely different picture with a lot of training action.

Did you know that Dubai Nexus edged out SDC Standard XP by one single point in Eloy? posted: Oct 28th, 2012 The NSL News has moved to Eloy, Arizona, as it is time for the live coverrage of the USPA Nationals 2012.
4way and 8way competition begin on Monday morning, and this year's event could become the most international national championship event in the history of the USPA Nationals. Several teams from different countries use this year's competition as the last test before the Mondial 2012, including the national 4way teams from Canada (Evolution, Crimson Fox), Dubai (Asaar Red and Gold), Qatar (Tigers) and the 8way teams from Russia (Sky Panthers Barkli), Netherlands (M8Trix), Dubai and Qatar.

Did you know that the Northwest Skydiving League is currently up by one single point at iFLY Seattle? posted: Oct 26th, 2012 The virtual indoor competition between the Florida Skydiving League at iFLY Orlando and the Northwest Skydiving League at iFLY Seattle is coming to the last days of the third stage, the October showdown.
It is an extremely tight race so far. Deb Correia has posted all of her scores and videos except for the AAA Class, while the first scores and videos of the Florida Skydiving League have been available for a while. The Northwest Skydiving League is currently up by one single point (96 - 95) before the missing AAA Class number. Both groups still have six days to improve their scores.

Did you know that Sunny Wind is a new Russian combination of Wild Wind and Sunny Heaven? posted: Oct 25th, 2012 The NSL News recently mentioned that several teams are making plans for the 2013 season that include the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013. Thunder is one of the confirmed teams, and a new Russian team also told the NSL News that the event is on its 2013 schedule.
Sunny Wind is a combination of two teams who have appeared on previous NSL leaderboards, and the team recently came to DeLand for a fall training camp. Team members Valentin Ilin (Center Outside) and Vladimir Ostanin (Center Inside) competed for Sunny Heaven at a small season opener in Kolomna in May.

Did you know that Thunder has a new commitment for the 2013 season? posted: Oct 24th, 2012 The NSL News reported yesterday that UK team Eclipse is planning for the 4th season with the same lineup. That's a long time period in 4way competition. There is another team who recently renewed the commitment for the 2013 season, and this team is even going into the 5th year with the same lineup.
It was a difficult and slow start for Thunder in 2009. Paul Hofstee was still competing with Dynamic Fource for the Netherlands, while Sven Ibens, Wesley Claessens and Jacco van Eerden did not have any team commitments any longer.
