Did you know that the NSL News followed Polaris on a training day? posted: Oct 23rd, 2012 It was not too long ago that the NSL News met with Polaris, Norway's national team in the female 4way category. The World Cup 2012 had brought Polaris and the NSL News both to Prostejov in the Czech Republic.
Polaris competed with the two best teams in the world in this category, Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders and Golden Knights, even though the reigning world champions from France competed in the Open Class, due to the absence of Aerodyne Aerokart, the Open Class winners of 2010.

Did you know that UK team Eclipse goes into the 4th season with the same lineup? posted: Oct 23rd, 2012 The NSL format with the four different categories has worked out well for many teams in the United Kingdom, as the NSL News reported after the new record number of 72 teams at the UK Nationals 2012. Team after team has joined the 4way fun in one of the lower competition classes and moved up into the next category after a year or two.
Eclipse is one of the teams who entered the chain of 4way addiction in the A Class competition of 2010. Jenny Buckle, Martin Cressey, Jonny Flowers, Ben Lawford and Simon Chittick (Camera) have been together ever since and eventually entered the AAA Class competition... (more)
Did you know that Germany and Switzerland will repeat their 1993 and 2011 battle in Dubai? posted: Oct 22nd, 2012 The NSL News has published updates from Germany on a regular basis, and the last ones were not the best ones. ISB Air Remscheid had missed the German Nationals 2012 and will not compete at the Mondial 2012. Then the German 8way team EADS recently lost Thomas Spielvogel due to a serious work injury.
Germany's national coach Mathias "Mausi" Maushake was on a Florida vacation with his family this month, and the NSL News used the opportunity to get additional information of the German situation just about a month before the start of the competition in Dubai.

Did you know that the Virginia Parachute Council concluded the 2012 season successfully? posted: Oct 20th, 2012 The Virginia Parachute Council added the latest scores of the 2012 season to the 115 different leaderboards in the NSL database this year. It is the first time for the NSL News that there are more than 100 different scoreboards with results from many different parts of the world.
Skydive Orange hosted the third and last VPC meet of the year with four participating teams in the AA Class. VPC Director Elizabeth Kang reported that Skydive Suffolk and the Virginia Skydiving Center each sent a team to Skydive Orange to compete with the two home teams. Did you know that you make it happen or you don't? posted: Oct 19th, 2012 The NSL News began posting a series of paragraphs from Dan BC's book ABOVE ALL ELSE with "The Goal of Personal and Team Best" on 3 August 2012.
Dan BC gave the NSL News permission to copy some chapters of the second part of his book.

Did you know that the ISR Grand Prix 2012 will have record attendance? posted: Oct 18th, 2012 It was a goal with high hopes at the beginning, and it has turned into a fact by now: The ISR Grand Prix 2012 will have record participation in November. 45 teams have registered for this year's indoor competition in Roosendaal, and the event is still more than five weeks away.
It's the 3rd time that this event takes place, and it attracted 19 teams to Roosendaal in the Netherlands in 2010 and 41 in 2011. The number of teams in the AA Class competition is already the highest one in the history of the event, while the AAA Class participation is higher than in 2010 and growing.
