News Article Did you know that the Midwest Skydiving League had the slowest start of a 14-year history?
posted: Jun 6th, 2012 The first meet of the Midwest Skydiving League this year completed the scores on last weekend's leaderboard. Only three teams made it to the season opener at Skydive Chicago, summer home of SDC Rhythm XP, and made it the slowest start in the 14-year MWSL history. There was a player coach team with Steve Lefkowitz training on site while the meet was running, which did not not attend. Two other local teams were at Paraclete XP for a tunnel camp with JaNette Lefkowitz on the meet weekend. News Article Did you know that iFLY Seattle helps to prepare NWSL teams and competitors for the 2012 outdoor season?
posted: Jun 5th, 2012 The NSL News reported on 16 May 2012 that the Northwest Skydiving League has a comeback this year. NWSL Director Deb Correia mentioned earlier this year that she is working closely together with the iFLY Seattle windtunnel to prepare the NWSL teams and competitors for the 2012 outdoor and NWSL comeback season. posted: Jun 4th, 2012 The first Coupe de France event this year in Pamiers also included VFS 4way competition. The NSL News has given this category attention a few times this year, beginning at the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championships 2011. The story on 21 February 2012 followed up with a French experience at the same event. News Article Did you know that the race for national medals has started in Germany?
posted: Jun 3rd, 2012 The first test for a new German lineup with former members of the national teams in 4way and 8way was up at the Northern German Championships this weekend in Kassel-Calden. The seven teams completed nine rounds in the AAA Class and eight rounds in the A Class and the Rookie Class, which both have slightly different dive pools. Gamma Ray Kassel consists of three former X-Ray Remscheid members (Steffen Schiedeck, Uli Sehrbrock, Henning Stumpp) and Petra Bärenfänger, who trained and competed with the Chicas. News Article Did you know that the US - Russian 8way showdown of 2003 created the biggest drama in history?
posted: Jun 2nd, 2012 The last part of the of Russian 8way team's story in the runup to the World Meet 2003 in Gap, France, explained that Russia completed recruiting the final lineup two weeks before the competition and was ready for the next showdown with the well trained and consistent Arizona Airspeed lineup. The 8way competition between Russia and Airspeed was thrilling enough in 1999, and it was even more exciting in 2001. posted: Jun 1st, 2012 The new meet weekend is right around the corner, which includes the next meet in Germany and the season opener of the Midwest Skydiving League. Little Big Cloud was also planning to send the next competition draw into the virtual 4way world on June 1st.
