MidAtlantic Skydiving League Director Dennis Miller held the June meet on Saturday, and three teams attended. Six participants wanted to play in the Rookie Class, and three of them came out to join an MASL event for the first time. Dennis Miller took the Center Outside slot as a player coach for both Rookie Class lineups and had a busy day. He said that the new Rookie Class competitors had a fun time and are looking forward to doing it again.

The history of the team is also well known to the NSL News audience. There are still always new angles and perspectives that come up along the way to the biggest achievement in skydiving competition.

Did you know that Thunder posted new Tomscat Trophy records this weekend? posted: Jun 17th, 2012 The Tomscat Trophy 2012 is over, and no more scores were added to the leaderboard after seven rounds in the AAA Class and the A Class. The AA and Rookie Class teams completed officially six rounds, as AA Class team 4igami did not get to make Round 7. The weather allowed only the award ceremony on Sunday.
Thunder posted a new record average for the team and for the Tomscat Trophy. The former Dutch national 4way team Dynamic Fource still owned the highest average until today with the 20.6 average at the Tomscat Trophy 2010. Did you know that Tom Falzone has good reasons to visit the Tomscat Trophy? posted: Jun 16th, 2012 The Tomscat Trophy 2012 is in full swing, but the field of teams does not have the same international touch any longer as the previews explained.
The recent story of the Blue Rebels from Greece was correct all the way, however, it did not have the perfect ending in Hoogeveen this weekend. Organizer Mike Pennock informed the NSL News that the Blue Rebels had to cancel their trip at the last minute due to the political and financial crisis in Greece, which also caused elections of a new government this weekend.

Did you know that the Blue Rebels return to the Netherlands earlier than usual? posted: Jun 15th, 2012 The Netherlands and Greece are in the same boat now at the EURO 2012 - at the very bottom of their groups. Germany had no mercy on Wednesday with the host of the Tomscat Trophy 2012, and the team from the Czech Republic defeated Greece on Tuesday. Netherlands and Greece both HAVE to win their last group game on Saturday (Greece) and Sunday (Netherlands) to advance to the next round.
The Dutch team even needs some help from Germany, as Denmark could take the second place by winning against Germany who is qualified no matter what. It's a tough situation and a lot of pressure for the Netherlands... (more)
Did you know that EURO 2012 interferes with the Tomscat Trophy? posted: Jun 13th, 2012 The annual Tomscat Trophy 2012 in the Netherlands is coming up this weekend and will bring together once again more than 20 teams in Hoogeveen.
Dutch 4way competitions have often fallen together on the meet weekends with important football/soccer matches, a very popular sport in the Netherlands, as in most parts of Europe.
Dutch 4way competitions have even been halted here and there if the Dutch national soccer team was in contention of winning a tournament. (more)
