Did you know that the tables seem to keep turning before the Mondial 2012 in Dubai? posted: Nov 6th, 2012 The NSL News just returned to the headquarters in DeLand after the live coverage of the USPA Nationals 2012 at Skydive Arizona. It was the perfect opportunity to check out the status of the four US national teams in the Formation Skydiving events (Arizona Airspeed, Golden Knights in 8way and female 4way, SDC Standard XP).
The NSL News had provided Blue Skies Mag with the latest contribution before the trip to Eloy. Topic was the situation a few months before the Mondial 2012 in Dubai and a possible sweep by the US delegation.

Did you know that Cosmic Debris won with coaching and meet experience? posted: Nov 5th, 2012 The Intermediate Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2012 was much more a thriller than the race for the medals in the Open Class, where Arizona Airspeed and SDC Rhythm XP were safe and secure in 1st and 2nd place from beginning to end. Canada's national team Evolution was also without competition in 3rd place, and only the battle for USPA bronze medals between Golden Knights and DNR was exciting on the top of the leaderboard.
However, the Intermediate Class thriller was also only about the 2nd place, as Cosmic Debris of the Northern Plains Skydiving League finished five points ahead of... (more)
Did you know that Dubai Asaar's 8way team went from 7.3 to 11.7 this year? posted: Nov 4th, 2012 The NSL News continues with the aftermath of the 8way competition at the USPA Nationals 2012.
There was still additional NSL Reality TV footage, which was not uploaded so far. It shows the Dubai Asaar 8way team after the last round and also the latest celebration of friendship between the Russian 8way team Sky Panthers Barkli and the Golden Knights. The last celebration took place at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 where the Golden Knights presented a very special sword to the Russian team.
This time, both teams met after Round 10 and scheduled a meeting at the 8way award ceremony.... (more)

One of the highlights was the 8way competition between the Golden Knights and Russia's national team Sky Panthers Barkli. Both current lineups were recruited at about the same time. Golden Knights team leader Brian "BK" Krause began to put his new group together for the 2009 season, while Russian team captain Oleg Shalamykhin added four 8way competitors to his Sky Panthers Barkli 4way lineup.

Did you know that the TOP 3 on the 10way leaderboard is a copy of 2011? posted: Nov 2nd, 2012 The top of the 10way leaderboard at the USPA Nationals 2012 is identical with the one of 2011. The Golden Knights are winning the gold medals, Arizona Airspeed is in 2nd place, and *@#!? will take the bronze medal position.
The only difference to the 10way competition at the USPA Nationals 2011 is the distance between the teams. They were much closer to each other last year, and underdog *@#!? was even in contention for the gold medals.
Golden Knights member Dannielle Woosley and her team videographer Scott Janise were not able to keep up with the Golden Knights lineup in 1st place.

Did you know that GKXP defends the 16way title successfully? posted: Nov 1st, 2012 The joined effort of the two Golden Knights lineups, plus Kirk Verner, John D'Annunzio and Andy Honigbaum, works better in the 16way competition of the USPA Nationals 2012 than the Arizona Airspeed 16way lineup for the annual reunion.
GKXP has won every single round so far and is up by 14 points after Round 4. No other team is close to the two top teams, and Deguello has to work for the bronze medal position.
The GKXP lineup of 2011 won by only two points. This year's 16way competition was over after Round 2 where the Golden Knights/Paraclete XP combination added six point to the 2-point... (more)
