Did you know that the World Challenge 2012 team number is up to 74 in 4way? posted: Mar 21st, 2012 The number of registered teams for the next event with NSL News live coverage, the World Challenge 2012, has gone up to 74 since the last update on 23 February 2012. 66 teams were registered at that point in time, and it was to be expected that the 70 would be broken.
The list of new teams includes the two Blue Rebels lineups from Greece who have never attended the indoor competition at Bodyflight Bedford to date. They competed at the ESL Championship 2011 and will now follow up with their first indoor scores.

Did you know that the Russian 8way competitors have earned the respect, admiration and gratitude of the Golden Knights? posted: Mar 19th, 2012 The aftermath of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 begins with a clip of NSL Reality TV that was recorded after the last round in 8way. It also includes the videos of all three teams in Round 10.
Golden Knights and Sky Panthers Barkli had made their own plans for the last round of the 8way competition and a little celebration after it. The US Army team was looking for additional performance pressure after being far ahead on the leaderboard. The Russian team was in good shape after tying the Golden Knights' 29-pointer in Round 9.

Did you know that NSL-TV features the world record challenge in Round 9? posted: Mar 18th, 2012 The NSL News has mentioned the potential for a few new unofficial 8way world records several times. Round 9 of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 deserved special attention.
The NSL Reality TV camera followed Golden Knights and Sky Panthers Barkli all the way from the final preparations for Round 9 to the landings and the live judging in the viewing area. Both teams were very much aware of the situation, and so was judge Eric Heinsheimer who walked the Golden Knights out to the boarding area.

Did you know that Jerry Bird told another great story at the award ceremony? posted: Mar 18th, 2012 Sunday is the second day for the 8way competition at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012. The Golden Knights are chasing the Golden Knights world records of 1997, and judge Eric Heinsheimer is watching it carefully.
The US Army team had a great start into the day and may have the momentum going for them. The NSL News will cover especially Round 9 extensively later.

Did you know that France increases the distance to Norway and USA in the female 4way competition? posted: Mar 17th, 2012 It's time for the first meet videos of the female 4way competition at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012.
The NSL News mentioned earlier that the Norwegian team Polaris surprised the Golden Knights with a very strong performance, especially on the first day of the competition. Polaris was up by four points after Round 5 at the end of Friday's rounds. It even continued on Saturday morning before the Golden Knights began to catch up and won Rounds 7, 8 and 9. Two points are left of the Norwegian lead before Round 10.
