Did you know that Tenacity members compete in Mideast and Florida this weekend? posted: May 21st, 2011 Coincidence brings together team mates of the 2010 season in two different lineups this weekend. The Florida Skydiving League visits Skydive Miami in Homestead, while the Mideast Skydiving League launches its 2011 season at Start Skydiving at the same time.
Jane McGuire trained and competed with Tenacity last year, an all-female lineup of the Mideast Skydiving League at Start Skydiving. Tenacity attended two MESL meets in 2010 and then took the 5th place of 31 AA/Intermediate Class teams at the USPA Nationals 2010 with a 10.3. average.

Did you know that the Vol:Danez will challenge Bodyflight Voluntas this year? posted: May 20th, 2011 An interesting situation develops in Denmark. A new lineup with former members of different national teams have joined forces to compete at the national championships this year.
It is not new that teams and competitors who are not too serious any longer get together to attend meets here and there. Especially the Scandinavian countries Denmark and Norway have a tradition for such kind of reunions. The DeLand Norgies are probably the most famous example for that.
The DaneZ, Demark's national team between 2003 and 2006, have done this quite a few times at the national championships, as well.... (more)
Did you know that 30 participants joined AZ Frenzy's latest "Team 4 A Day"? posted: May 19th, 2011 Player coaching projects, teams for a day, for a weekend or for a season, scrambles and other 4-way activities have become increasingly popular in the past years. Many experienced and passionate 4-way teams and competitors are open to forward their knowledge to other skydivers and try to generate more and new teams and 4-way fans.

Did you know that Polaris reports travel and training adventures from Spain? posted: May 18th, 2011 The NSL News has followed the current Norwegian national team in the female 4-way category, Polaris, from the very beginning. The current lineup (Ellen Burchardt, Kristine Willadsen, Trude Sviggum, Sissel Maria Finnseth) got together for the 2010 season and attended its first competition at the World Challenge 2010.
The members of the Polaris lineup were introduced by the NSL News shortly after the team plans were finalized for the 2010 season (Archives > 2010 > News > Search for "Polaris", January 20th). An update followed after Polaris had competed at the April meet of the Florida Skydiving... (more)

It is the fifth contribution from the Formation Skydiving competition community for the comprehensive Blue Skies Mag coverage of the whole skydiving world.

Did you know that the Russian Illusions set a new record average at the season opener? posted: May 16th, 2011 The NSL News introduced the new Russian lineup in the female 4-way category, Illusions, briefly with the story on 30 April 2011. An earlier story had covered the team's performance at the Dubai Championship 2011 where the lineup with Elena "Lenka" Mazaeva missed a new Russian record average for the female category only due to some trouble in Round 5.
Former Kaktus Hunter Katya Kharitonova took the Point slot when Illusions decided to continue after Dubai. The new lineup then attended Russia's 2011 season opener in Kolomna at the end of April and completed what the Illusions just missed in January.... (more)
