A team update came along with the videos. The sad news is the fact that Kaktus Hunter has disbanded.
The good news is a new and strong Russian 4-way lineup with two former Kaktus Hunters, Egor Gusev and Andrew Kharitonov.

Did you know that the turning directions of the new Block 13 are crucial? posted: Feb 1st, 2011 Teams across the skydiving world have begun checking out the modified Block 1 (Snowflake - Snowflake) and the new Block 13 (Offset - Spinner) after the changes of the dive pool were confirmed by the IPC officials.
Two German teams are currently doing this in DeLand, and the NSL News will soon upload videos of the two critical blocks. In fact, the teams are the official German national teams in the 4-way Open and the 4-way Female Class, Paratec-Saar and ISB Air.

Did you know that World Challenge 2011 is now open for all four competition classes? posted: Jan 31st, 2011 Two indoor competitions are coming up soon. The NSL News has prepared the on-line audience with several previews for the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championships 2011 next week.
It is also about time to take a closer look at the World Challenge 2011, which was the first serious indoor competition and takes place the 6th time this April. The World Challenge at Bodyflight Bedford has become one of the main stops for many teams at the beginning of each competition season.

Did you know that Illusions' Round 5 damage was in the way of a new Russian record average? posted: Jan 30th, 2011 The NSL News has to go back one more time to the Dubai Championship 2011 before zooming in on the upcoming events.
However, it surely will not be the last time that Dubai will make the NSL News headline in the near future. At least the World Championship of Formation Skydiving as a part of the Mondial 2012, the Dubai 500 world record attempt and updates from Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard will bring back Dubai topics, as well.

Did you know that the IPC voted for Dubai and Offset - Spinner? posted: Jan 29th, 2011 Everything relevant for Formation Skydiving competition teams, competitors and officials is said and done.
First of all, the IPC Delegates (International Parachuting Commission) decided today at the plenary meeting in Montenegro that the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2012 will be hosted by Skydive Dubai. It is scheduled for November 29 - December 10.
The event is in fact a part of the next Mondial, which means that all parachuting/skydiving events will take place at the same place within this time period. The last Mondial was hosted by France in Maubeuge 2003. (more)
Did you know that the Winter/Spring Tour 2011 gets in full swing for the top teams? posted: Jan 28th, 2011 Each of the Winter/Spring Tour events that the top teams attend has its own meaning and background.
The Dubai Championship 2011 was like a mini world meet and brought together three of the four best Open Class teams in 2010. NMP-PCH Hayabusa and Aerodyne Aerokart used the opportunity to test their new lineups, while Arizona Airspeed was on a farewell vacation.
The next outdoor competition is the Valentine's Meet 2011, which features the new Airspeed lineup and once again the French national team. The results in Eloy will show how close the gold and silver medalists at the World Championship... (more)
