News Article Did you know that Hannah Betts is the US Center Inside in Dubai?
posted: Dec 27th, 2010 Yesterday's first preview of the Dubai Championship 2011 covered the female 4-way event and the US lineup that will compete in January. A correction note from the west coast came shortly after the article was posted and pointed out that Spaceland Blue's Center Inside Brianne Thompson would not compete in Dubai. Hannah Betts will take the driver's seat and work the center together with Christy Frikken. The situation between Aerokart Deep Blue and the US team was interesting enough without the correction. The new lineup gives it an additional twist and makes the upcoming competition in the... (more)

The NSL News work on this day actually turned into a time for reflection and eventually appreciation. I walked into the office later this morning after a few days of vacation in the Sweetwater Springs wilderness of the Ocala Forest, one of my favorite spots on the planet, and was ready to begin with the daily update of the Skyleague.com website before heading home and celebrate with the family. There is never a lack of interesting information for NSL News stories, thanks to the... (more)

posted: Dec 23rd, 2010 The last installment of Jerome David's NSL Profile covers recent history of Formation Skydiving competiton. The last four years, 2007 - 2010, were probably the most exciting part of his coaching career. The World Meet 2008 was hosted by France in Maubeuge, and the French delegation had all advantages on its side. The home turf alone was not even the biggest advantage. The IPC had agreed to Pilatus Porters for the jump planes, and the right-hand door is very unusual these days and caused a lot of trouble for most of the visiting teams. Maybe the unusual hurricanes in Maubeuge, right before... (more)
