The NSL-TV camera captured live scenes in the landing area when Russia's 8-way team Barkli, the French 8-way and the Golden Knights came down from their final round. All reactions on both ends seemed to confirm that France would have won the meet.

Did you know that no 8-way team has won a round by three points in this meet so far? posted: Aug 4th, 2010 The 8-way teams have completed Round 9, and the 4-way teams and competitors are swarming the dropzone at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010.
Russia lost two points in Round 9, which was not new to Barkli. The team had lost eight points going into Round 9. It was the opposite situation for the Golden Knights who had not seen a point deduction before Round 8. The two lost points in Round 8 hurt even more after the next 2-point deficit in Round 9.

Did you know that Kazakhstan scored again in Round 8? posted: Aug 4th, 2010 The voters for the French 8-way team Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge have the upper hand again after Round 8. France is the underdog according to the poll results and the comments in the related forum. In reality, France is the 2-time defending world champion of 2006 and 2008.
This update comes along with the 8-way videos of Round 4, this time featuring all teams. Yesterday's videos of Rounds 5 - 7 are still missing and will be added later.

Did you know that Norwegian Freeflyer Derek Broughton helps out in 8-way? posted: Aug 4th, 2010 It's time for some videos. NSL-TV is trying to catch up, first in 8-way, before the last rounds will decide over the medals. The judges are not working on the videos of Round 8 yet, and the first three 8-way rounds are now available for reviews on NSL-TV.
It is a little bit slower in the morning since the judges are waiting for all videos to be available. There is a chain reaction that leads to the slower pace in 8-way. Did you know that Thomas Hughes has the Fun Flag? posted: Aug 3rd, 2010 An action loaded day is over at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010. All scores of today are posted, and it cannot be much more exciting in the 4-way Open Class and in 8-way.
It seems as if Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge and Arizona Airspeed have their own battle for the gold medals over the last three rounds. However, there is the fast sequence of Round 9, which could bring the Sky Panthers and NMP-PCH Hayabusa back in striking distance.
