Did you know that VTSD moves up and on as Carolina Turbo XP? posted: Feb 9th, 2010 Competition practice and experience creates winners. This is a message that the Arizona Airspeed 4-way world champions have announced many times, and they have also shown that this is the truth.
However, the 4-way world champions are not the only competitors who have provided more than enough evidence for that.
In fact, there is a very young team has spread the same message on last year's scoreboards. VTSD, the AA/Intermediate Class champion of the USPA Nationals 2009 was actually the team that competed at more meets than any other team last year.

Did you know that the female 4-way race of 2010 is heating up? posted: Feb 8th, 2010 The World Challenge 2010 will not only feature the next showdown and 2010 test for the best 4-way Open Class teams in the world. The same event will also bring at least two of the 2010 top contenders in the female 4-way category together at Bodyflight Bedford.
This would be the first serious confrontation in 2010, unless UK's Team Bodyflight or US team Spaceland Blue will show up in DeLand for the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2010. The French national team, Aerokart Deep Blue Maubeuge, has already bought the tickets to DeLand.

Did you know that the Valentine's Meet sequences have been a tough challenge for Airspeed? posted: Feb 6th, 2010 It has been a while since the NSL News visited Skydive Arizona the last time to cover each year's first meet of the competition season, the traditional annual Valentine's Meet. Actually, the Valentine's Meet 2010 is not the first competition of the new season, as the Dubai Championship was already completed at the beginning of January.
Arizona Airspeed made the trip to Dubai in January and won after another impressive performance. It was the 21st consecutive victory for the current Airspeed lineup (Eliana Rodriguez - Point, Craig Girard - Center Outside, Andy Delk - Center Inside, Mark Kirkby... (more)
Did you know that China's coach challenged the US 4-way team at the World Meet in 1989? posted: Feb 5th, 2010 The NSL News story on 19 January 2010, which covered the Dynamic Fource training camp in DeLand, mentioned that the video clip of the ground activities was also showing a 4-way team from China. The NSL News promised to go back to skydiving in China later on.
The collection of information and footage of the Chinese teams took some time and accumulated to such an amount that it needs to be split up into different segments to cover the complete story. Today's story goes back in time and to previous events.
The teams that competed at the May meet of the Southern California Skydiving League in... (more)
Did you know that 4XTT comes back with the same Belgian/Dutch lineup as in 2009? posted: Feb 4th, 2010 The NSL News story on 29 January 2010 introduced Dynamic Fource member Paul Hofstee's second team project this year, player coach team Skytrax. The same story mentioned that this was still not all for the passionate Dutch 4-way fan. He would have another team for the 2010 season.
Dynamic Fource surely has Paul Hofstee's top priority, as the Dutch national 4-way team prepares for the unofficial world amateur title race at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010. However, his third team will probably compete on a similar performance and scoring level as Dynamic Fource.

Did you know that the Shamrock Showdown 2010 includes the event's first 8-way competition? posted: Feb 3rd, 2010 The World Challenge 2010 has mostly been in the NSL News spotlight of the next upcoming meets, and this is for a good reason. The indoor competition at Bodyflight Bedford is really the major competition these days.
However, the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2010 is not too far behind in value and relevance. The logistics of an outdoor competition make it more challenging, as the weather plays an important role. However, the actual results on the scoreboard still speak a more realistic language compared to an indoor competition. Fact is that the skydiving world will know a lot more about the 2010 season...
