Did you know that Flippin Awesome had Blue and family connections? posted: Feb 28th, 2010 The NSL News story on 25 February 2010 had introduced the Arizona Frenzy lineup at the Valentine's Meet 2010 and explained some cross connections between Frenzy and other teams.
There were actually even more cross connections, which reached beyond the competition classes. The Flippin Awesome lineup, the only team in the AA Class competition at the Valentine's Meet 2010, included Gary Peterson. He is Annie Peterson's father. Annie Peterson is a member of the US national 4-way team in the female category, Spaceland Blue, and she competed in Eloy as a player coach for Arizona Frenzy. (more)
Did you know that Carolina Turbo XP has the first AAA test at the Shamrock Showdown? posted: Feb 27th, 2010 The NSL News reported on 9 February 2010 that Carolina Turbo XP, formerly known as VTSD, continues and moves up into the AAA Class competition this year.
The short and very impressive 4-way career of Doug Barron (Outside Center), Joey Coffineau (Inside Center), Andrew Happick (Point), Ben Worrall (Tail) and James Sides on camera included gold medals at the USPA Nationals 2009 in the AA/Intermediate Class and at the Collegiate Championships 2009 for Virginia Tech in the A Class.
The same lineup will now take on the AAA Class dive pool, and the first serious test is coming up soon.

Did you know that each sequence at the Aerokart Indoor Championship begins with a Star? posted: Feb 26th, 2010 The NSL News goes back to the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2010, the indoor competition in Paris, France, that recently filled the NSL leaderboard with new scores.
Françoise Simons, Aerokart Deep Blue member who works for the wind tunnel in Paris, provided the NSL News with videos of the competition.
Her team posted impressive scores last weekend, as the NSL News reported on 22 February 2010.
8-way team captain Clément Martin-Saint-Léon, who competed with Aerokart PCs in 4-way, told the NSL News already shortly after the competition that the scores have to be evaluated considering the... (more)
Did you know that Arizona Frenzy's lineup included two 4-way top competitors? posted: Feb 25th, 2010 The Valentine's Meet 2010 was not only an Airspeed affair. It surely was a small meet, as indeed the lowest number of teams ever in the history of the event attended this year's competition. However, there were also three other teams at Skydive Arizona on the Valentine's weekend.
The NSL News had already introduced the Dutch/Belgian 4XTT combination with earlier stories. The other two teams appeared on the NSL leaderboard for the first time. There were still familiar names in those lineups.

Did you know that Paraclete XP4 is expected to compete for the money at the World Challenge 2010? posted: Feb 24th, 2010 The last update of the field of teams at the World Challenge 2010 added several new names on the list.
Two more teams will follow the same spring tour that several top teams have been traveling in the past years. SDC Rhtythm XP will first compete at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2010 and then make the team's first trip to Bedford at the beginning of April. Rhythm will travel to the United Kingdom together with Paraclete XP4, the team with Rhythm coach Kirk Verner that they share most of the indoor and outdoor training time with.

Did you know that a new NSL Talk with Airspeed followed a 16-way fun jump? posted: Feb 23rd, 2010 The NSL News is going back to the coverage of the Valentine's Meet 2010.
There is still more footage waiting to be processed and uploaded.
Today it is time for the latest NSL Talk with Arizona Airspeed, which took place in Eloy after the world champions had completed their 10-round meet on Sunday. The infamous Round 10 was one of the topics of the discussion, of course.
All ten competition jumps were already featured with the NSL News story on 14 February 2010, including the slowest sequence of Round 10 (4-21-20).
