News Article Did you know that Sky Panthers and Joggy Bussi are holding the top positions in Russia?
posted: Jun 18th, 2008 The Russian Nationals 2008 are in full swing, and three teams are standing above a 23-point average level after four rounds. However, it seems as if Sky Panthers have already secured the top position, which would once again qualify Michail Kuznetsov, Vladimir Pavlenko, Oleg Shalamykhin, Sergej Shenin and Andrey Seliverstov as the Russian national team for the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2008. The Sky Panthers have already distanced themselves from Black Cat by ten points after the first four rounds, and it will be very difficult for the reigning Russian 4-way champions to catch... (more)

posted: Jun 17th, 2008 The NSL News has mentioned the Russian Nationals 2008 several times this year, as it is the qualification event for this year's World Championship of Formation Skydiving. It was scheduled for this week to give the winning team enough time to prepare for the World Meet in France. The competition began today, and a total of 13 teams have signed up for the AAA/Open Class, including all the teams that are aiming at the Russian tickets to France. This race has been mostly a duel between the Sky Panthers and Black Cat in the past. However, other Russian top teams, as Crossroads and Sky Tech BBC, have... (more)
News Article Did you know that a hybrid meet in Eloy included a family affair?
posted: Jun 17th, 2008 The Arizona Skydiving League, run by the AZ Divewerkz members, had to improvise last weekend to get the six rounds of the meet in Eloy completed. Annie Peterson reported that the participants had a good meet despite some initial delays and issues: "First, one participant had a reserve after a nasty opening in Round 1. We weren't able to continue right away with the next round. Then, halfway through Round 2, we missed a videographer. Since we had only two videographers for the four teams there was no way for us to continue with three teams and only one video! So, we decided to move the competition... (more)

The NSL News story on 16 May 2008 had already provided an overview of the field. The meet will also feature a reunion of the New England Skydiving League team Mass Defiance. Team speaker Ben Liston recently updated the NSL News on the team's activities this year. News Article Did you know that Zero Tolerance Miami has a long team history?
posted: Jun 12th, 2008 NSL-TV moves on with another round of meet videos. Round 3 of the FSL May meet has now been uploaded. FSC Wind Damaged features the AA Class sequence (Q-P-F-13) with two completely different pages at the top of the competition jump. Confusion whether the first formation of the sequence was correctly presented or not held the team from Lake Wales back for a while. The whole first page was seriously hurt by the flaw at the very beginning and costly as of working time. However, FSC Wind Damaged left the first page behind and followed up with a perfect second page, which was probably one of the... (more)
