News Article Did you know that weather and gas prices make it more difficult in New England?
posted: Jun 30th, 2008 Four of last weekend's competitions have already provided scores and updates. It turns out so far that the weather did not cooperate much anywhere, neither in Europe nor in the USA. The 3rd competition of the United Kingdom Skydiving League did not get any further than to half completion of Round 2. The teams of the Czech Republic Skydiving League were stopped after three rounds. It was not much better in the USA. The Midwest Skydiving League completed only four of the scheduled six rounds. The New England Skydiving League did not even get the chance to start the meet at all. Mass Defiance's... (more)

Jim "Bu" Klinge, Rodney Cruce, Sean Sweeney and Kurt Gaebel competed at the Paraclete XP Money Meet 2008 in Raeford, while Derrick Thomas, Bruce Robertson, Bob Byrne and Dave Ruffell attended the June meet of the Florida Skydiving League at Skydive City. Teiwaz in North Carolina had better luck with... (more)

posted: Jun 26th, 2008 The stongest showing of last weekend's numerous events in the USA and Europe came from the Netherlands where 4-way competition is on the same upswing that many other leagues are currently enjoying. The small European country had 23 teams competing at the annual Tomscat Trophy. The national 4-way team Dynamic Fource finished in 8th position of the very strong 32-team AAA Class field with a 17.4 average. This first result in 2008 matches the team's highest average in August last year. Seven other Dutch teams competed in the AAA Class, as well, none of them new for the NSL News audience and on... The link to Round 1 on the leaderboard has already been replaced by the second round of last weekend's competition in Raeford. (more)

The scores from the Fastrax headquarters at Start Skydiving come along with a new article of John Hart's 4-way Tips. Four teams competed at his new skydiving center near Cincinnati, and he and his former Fastrax teammate Niklas Hemlin were a part of the competition with the new team Wait & See. After leaving the US 8-way team KnightTrax John Hart made it his mission at Start Skydiving to bring up new skydivers and introduce them to 4-way competition, then take them up to a higher performance level....
