Did you know that the USPA Competition Manual plays a role in the registration process?
posted: Oct 21st, 2006 The registration process is on the way in Eloy, and the NSL News goes back to the introduction of teams. The NSL News story on October 19 explained where Elsinore Gravity and Perris Fury might be able to position themselves in the AAA/Open Class competition of the USPA Nationals 2006. Other Open Class teams and their situations were also mentioned in the same story. The NSL News on October 20 added that the complete field of teams in USPA's two other competition classes (AAA/Advanced Class and AA/Intermediate Class) will only be known tonight and then show which teams might be the top contenders.... Did you know that teams from the east coast shared tunnel time and plane loads yesterday in Eloy?
posted: Oct 21st, 2006 The first update from the USPA Nationals 2006 came from Eloy yesterday, and it was provided by Cherie and Karl Schuch who have been organizing the MidAtlantic Skydiving League activities for several years. They recently train and compete with Cross Keys O2 Project and had their eyes on the teams from their region. Cherie and Karl Schuch made the long trip from New Jersey to Arizona a fun adventure: "Karl & I are traveling around the US starting last week. We are on our way to AZ. Sitting in Oklahoma City right now." They made it safely to the competition site in Eloy and observed the training... (more)

Did you know that the complete AA Class field will only be known Saturday night?
posted: Oct 20th, 2006 NSL-TV follows up with round five of the NSL Playoffs 2006 very quickly this time. This offers the valued audience one more opportunity to look at some of the teams, which will compete at the USPA Nationals 2006 beginning this weekend on Sunday. (more)

Did you know that Perris Fury and Elsinore Gravity will probably try to steal a round?
posted: Oct 19th, 2006 Round four of the NSL Playoffs 2006 brought the same sequence (6-K-18) for all teams competing in the AAA Class and also in the AA Class. One of the interesting aspects of this round is the fact that none of the first five teams on the AA Class leaderboard was able to complete the second page and get to the highscore of 10 points. Only the CSC Sirens (6th), CSC Rubicon (8th) and Air Force 7XY (12th) completed Block 18 (Zircon - Zircon) on the second page and were rewarded with the highscore of round four. Did you know that DC3 won the VPC Championship 2006?
posted: Oct 18th, 2006 Two more events wrapped up the regular 2006 season, one competition in Brazil, the other one in Virginia. The remaining two events on the NSL Calendar of Events are the USPA Nationals 2006 and the NSL Championship 2006. The event in Eloy will be brought to the audience under NSL News Special Events coverage, while the NSL Championship is a part of SkyQuest 2006. The Virginia Parachute Council held its final competition of the 2006 season at Skydive Orange, Inc on Oct 8th. It was a weather shortened meet of only four rounds, but it was the biggest turnout of the year. Four teams participated... (more)

Did you know that the Golden Knights come back with a world class line-up?
posted: Oct 17th, 2006 It has been a quiet and interesting competition season for the Golden Knights in 2006. The NSL News introduced the new line-up for the 2006 season with the story on January 2. The new line-up included a female Army member, Angela Nichols, for the first time in the Golden Knights history, and the training agenda included many competitions. The plans were completely different than the outcome at the beginning of the year, as team captain Brian "BK" Krause explained in the NSL News story on February 21.
