posted: Oct 27th, 2004 The NSL Championship 2004 will once again be the most competitive event of SkyQuest 2004. The NSL News will soon introduce the already registered teams and offer insights. However, the SkyQuest atmosphere has still always been very casual, and the teams competed for NSL trophies, medals and the last scores of the season while enjoying the best and most exciting facilities of any skydiving event in the world. News Article Did you know that the SkyQuest 2004 website has become more active?
posted: Oct 26th, 2004 The SkyQuest website is quite silent for most of the year. However, the information gets updated when the event comes closer. Some contents of previous events remain on the website, others are being replaced. SkyQuest 2004, including the NSL Championship, is now close enough for more recent updates. The SkyQuest website has already been offering on-line sign-up procedures for this year's event for a while. Special offers for hotel accommodation with special rates were added. The event schedule gave participants and visitors an overview of the activities. (more)
News Article Did you know that Excalibur was celebrated in DeLand last weekend?
posted: Oct 20th, 2004 The DeLand skydiving community once again organised a homecoming celebration for DeLand Majik last weekend. Location was the "Perfect Spot", drop zone restaurant at Skydive DeLand. This time, the party was very special since it included the presentation of "Excalibur", the IPC trophy for the 4-way and 8-way world champions. News Article Did you know that Kid Pink and Mr. Purple committed to the ultimate team last weekend?
posted: Oct 18th, 2004 The NSL audience may have noticed that the name of a 4-way team with one of the longest traditions in the country did not appear on any scoreboard this year. Mr. Pink from Georgia set the team priorities differently this year. The main team event took place last weekend near Atlanta. Jennifer Gruwell, alias Kid Pink and Glen Hauenstein, alias Mr. Purple, got married. Missing Pink scores in 2004 does not mean that the team has completely disbanded. News Article Did you know that Arizona Blade and Elsinore Equinox will be treated like SSL champions at SkyQuest 2004?
posted: Oct 15th, 2004 The Grand Prize of the Southwest Skydiving League seems to become a very enjoyable award for the winner of the AAA Class, Arizona Blade, and of the AA Class, Elsinore Equinox. SSL Director Pamela Stevens recently explained to the two teams what to expect. The SSL Grand Prize goes to the winning teams of the two SSL classes over the whole season, and it includes sponsorship by the Southwest Skydiving League to compete at the NSL Championship at SkyQuest 2004 in Florida. News Article Did you know that Lise Aune, Arianna de Benedetti, Eliana Rodriguez and Nina Kuebler join forces for the "International Women's Team Week"?
posted: Oct 13th, 2004 The "post-season" continues for some of the celebreties in 4-way Formation Skydiving competition. Italy's Arianna de Benedetti of Sinapsi PD, who was recently featured at the NSL Profiles, traveled from Croatia to California and competed with Dr. Joel Shugar's guest team Optic Kurves in the Open Class at the USPA Nationals 2004. Lise Aune, former DeLand Norgies member and new Norwegian national coach, joined de Benedetti, Dr. Shugar and Scott Keeler for a complete Optic Kurves reunion.
