posted: Aug 17th, 2004 In stark contrast to the dangerously violent weather impacting Florida and the East Coast last weekend, the Midwest was blessed with near perfect skydiving weather. And while August meets in the Midwest typically involve enduring some of the most oppressive heat and humidity of the year, we had near record lows and a high only in the low 70’s. Six teams, all of whom were participating in at least their third MWSL meet of the season, took advantage of the spectacular weather at Skydive Chicago in Ottawa, IL. News Article Did you know that the NSL SkyVenture Competition scores of the August 7 weekend are posted?
posted: Aug 16th, 2004 Several of the new scores of last weekend's events are already posted. It is time to wrap up the August 7 weekend with the results of the NSL SkyVenture Competition. The Southwest Skydiving League was the only NSL league competing that weekend. Additional teams attended a meet of the European Skydiving League in Finland that used the same competition draw. (more)

News Article Did you know that the latest NSL-TV features the fast FSL round in May?
posted: Aug 12th, 2004 The last update of the NSL-TV coverage includes a new round of the Florida Skydiving League May meet. Round two was the random sequence (C-E-F-L-K) that helped DeLand Majik to a 25.5 meet average after six rounds. Majik scored 41 points within working time and kept the jump still so clean that the Malevsky Cup judges were impressed when judging it inofficially in Russia. (more)
News Article Did you know that the Norgies had a 21.5 record reunion at the 2004 Nationals last month?
posted: Aug 11th, 2004 The Southwest Skydiving League registered record participation last weekend in Perris when 18 teams competed at the fifth SSL meet of the regular 2004 season. The scores are posted, and they are impressive. Arizona Blade continued the team's consistent scoring progression (13.7 - 15.3 - 16.8 - 17.7) at the team's fourth SSL 2004 competition. The U.S. national team in the Women's Class, Synchronicity, attended the first competition this year with the same line-up as in 2003 and seems to be ready for the next challenge at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving in September in Croatia. News Article Did you know that new scores from the UK Nationals and Austria are posted?
posted: Aug 10th, 2004 The July 31 meet weekend was the first one this year when the National Skydiving League and the European Skydiving League did not synchronize the competition draw. Timing and communication did not work out as usual, and both leagues had different sequences for the meets on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. The Great Lakes, Carolina and Georgia Skydiving Leagues competed in the USA, while the British Parachute Association (BPA) held their national championship and the Austrian Skydiving League its third meet of the 2004 season.
