Did you know that the NSL News will cover the Malevsky Memorial World Cup 2004 on site? posted: Mar 24th, 2004 The NSL News reported already earlier that the International Parachuting Commission (IPC) recently upgraded the Malevsky Memorial Cup to an "A Category" event. The official name of the 4-way and accuracy competition in Stupino, Russia, is now "IPC Anton Malevsky Memorial World Cup 2004". It is the official "2004 Open European Championship in Formation Skydiving" at the same time. The FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004 was the right time to think ahead of this exciting event at the end of June. Skydive Coastal Carolinas has joined the league and is located in Long Beach, NC at the Brunswick County airport. They will host Meet #4 in July. Did you know that the Genesis re-union at the Shamrock Showdown was rewarded with $500? posted: Mar 23rd, 2004 The AAA Class competition of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004 had much more to offer beside the world class race between DeLand Majik and Sinapsi PD. One of the special meet features was the Genesis/PD Blue re-union of the original 1995 line-up with Shannon Pilcher, Kyle Collins, Ian Bobo, David VanGreuningen and Eric Taylor. The team members had been looking forward to this event and enjoyed each single round. Pilcher and Bobo are still residents in DeLand, while VanGreuningen visited from California, Collins from Jacksonville in Florida and Taylor from Atlanta, Georgia. (more)
Did you know that team Hayabusa won a 4-way tunnel competition in Paris, France? posted: Mar 22nd, 2004 Aerokart, the wind tunnel in France, Paris, organized its 2nd international indoor competition on the 28th and 29th of February, 2004. The meet was intended for 3-way and 4-way team competition.
Thirteen 4-way and eleven 3-way teams attended the 8-round meet, including teams from Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium and France. Teams were allowed to use a maximum of one minute for training in the tunnel before working time started running.
This procedure was helpful since the teams did not have the possibility of using creepers to prepare the sequences.When the teams felt ready, they would form... (more)
Did you know that the Majik - Sinapsi Shamrock 2004 Showdown is a part of a long meet journey? posted: Mar 20th, 2004 The FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004 surely felt like a miniature version of a world meet on the first day of the competition. Teams from seven different nations competed at Skydive DeLand on Saturday. DeLand Majik, Sebastian Teiwaz, DeLand Mojo, Optic Nerve, FSC JAMMM and the Rookies represented the USA. Sinapsi PD is Italy's national 4-way team. The Danez will represent Denmark and Team 42 Sweden at this year's world meet. V2 is a British contender for the United Kingdom's 2004 slot in Croatia, and 4Motion is a UK team, as well. The 4Tunates are from the Netherlands, and four teams from Norway competed... (more)

It was time for round three of the SSL Valentine's Meet 2004. At the same time, round eight of the NSL Championship 2003 was overdue. Finally, the next step of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004 coverage has been completed with the first round of the meet now posted on NSL-TV.The coverage of the NSL Championship 2003 at Fantasy of Flight will soon be complete with only two more rounds to come.
