posted: Mar 16th, 2004 The NSL webmaster took some time to work on the exact breakdown of the skins, and also of all the prizes that were given to the teams at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004. It became a quite colorful page featuring the first team pictures taken at the meet. Sebastian XL member and Danez coach Pete Allum had the NSL camera in his pocket throughout the whole meet, special thanks to Pete for this out-of-the-box service and the great photos and snapshots. posted: Mar 15th, 2004 The FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004 was a great success last weekend. World class 4-way competition, perfect weather, many prizes, good vibes and a rocking band on stage Saturday night made the event well worth the visit to DeLand. Local media coverage had also drawn out crowds of spectators to Skydive DeLand on both days of the event. The three top teams, DeLand Majik, Sinapsi PD and Genesis each walked away with $500 in their pockets and additional prizes of the Skins Game. Several other teams took home money and prizes, as well. News Article Did you know that the Malevsky Memorial Cup has been upgraded by the IPC?
posted: Mar 4th, 2004 The delegates of the International Parachuting Commission (IPC) upgraded the Malevsky Memorial Cup to one of the IPC's "1st Category Events" at the 55th annual IPC meeting in Lisbon at the end of January. The official name of the first-class competition in Stupino, Russia, is now "2004 Open European Championship and IPC Anton Malevsky Memorial World Cup". The event is scheduled for June 29 to July 3, 2004. It will be the third year for the Malevsky Cup. Did you know that the next SWSL Meet is April 3 at Skydive Arizona?
posted: Mar 2nd, 2004 The next SSL Meet is April 3 at Skydive Arizona. Remember, this is the last chance for teams to qualify for the league's Grand Prize. The Grand Prize will include a trophy to be kept at the home dz for the winning AAA team; and one qualifying team in each category will be sponsored by the league to compete in the NSL Championships at SkyQuest in Florida this fall. In order to qualify for the prize teams must compete in at least four meets including one meet at each venue. (more)

posted: Feb 16th, 2004 The coverage of the NSL Cloud Mondial 2020 begins on Monday with the 8-way competition, and the best 4-way teams in the world will follow up later next week. There is still enough time to add some more information of the reigning 4-way world champions and their challengers. NMP PCH HayaBusa has been the dominating indoor and outdoor 4-way team since 2014, and the NSL News is once again going back into the archives to explore the team's very beginnings. posted: Feb 16th, 2004 Today is a good opportunity to finish the Belgian story before the scores of the season opener in Eloy will arrive at the NSL headquarters and keep the NSL News busy. The story of the tough Belgium 4-way competition to be expected this year still misses the introduction of the challenger. The NSL News of February 9th covered the history of the Belgium 4-way competition and the situation of the defending champion, NMPV, the Belgium Army team.
